You don't lose blindside with either choice. With the Flush Mount Tail Lights you would move your BSM sensor over to the new tail light. It functions as expected. And the reverse lights for the bumper can't interfere in any way. Check out our install video on the installation tab of https://www.oraclelights.com/products/jlflush or here!!
I actually have the bumper lights on order. Really looking forward to those. The tail lights, however, I definitely have heard mixed reviews. Especially when it comes to the blind spot detection.

I understand the reservation...On a stock or semi-stock height there shouldn't be any difference with the BSM. On a lifted vehicle, you might need to do a 3mm shim to aim the sensor slightly angled down to get a more accurate response. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

That is interesting information. Is that included in your documentation?

have you thought of looking in your mirrors? Much higher resolution. The backup camera is literally a government mandated check the box item, it's not supposed to replace your own eyes/ears.
Yes, I understand that, I like to see the faces of the people I run over while I'm backing up. But in all seriousness the damn camera should work fine and not patchy like it does, but there has to be aftermarket camera that works, now the backup lights are a great idea but I'm not planning of upgrading the bumper for a while, which I would get one that has provision for rear lights to be installed.

The oracle back up lights just replace the reflectors in the factory rear bumper.

Nah, you just need a backup camera washer to clean your lens. (Am I too meta?).
Don't laugh; I had a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 4xe and the backup camera (in the words of my friend) wow, that's better than my Tesla camera. Now I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 4xe and when I got it, prepped from the dealer the backup camera sucked. It was blurry. I figured I would wipe it off before I went nuts on the dealership. Wiped it, not much better. Went back to investigate and figured it out. They had sprayed that tire shiny stuff on the spare to make it pretty and left a film on the camera. It took an alcohol based cleaner and a clean rag to fix it. Now my buddy will say it is better than his Tesla. Still... I feel the 2022 rear camera was a bit sharper. Everything else on the 2022 was problematic. That's a whole post, not a winded answer.

It isn't in our customer facing documentation. It probably should be as it is a great solution.

Good call! My camera is kind of blurry and there's a weird halo around the perimeter on the screen. I guarantee you it's some kind of crap from the dealership. I was going to pull the plastic cover/lock off of the spare and see if that helps, but I'll try cleaning the lens with a little thinned alcohol, first.

I figured out the problem with mine over the weekend. While doing my first tire rotation, I wanted to try and clean the camera really well while the spare tire lock plastic thing was off. When I started wiping, I felt a weird raised edge around the outside of the lens. Turns out, there was a little clear rubberized protector (like a thick contact lens) over the lens of the camera to protect it during assembly or shipment or whatever and it wasn't removed during dealer prep. Once I peeled it off, my camera is crystal clear.

I just went out to the garage, hoping there was one of these on my lens. Nothing though.

I tried the Oracle reverse lights, but they needed too much modification to fit into the OEM steel bumper. I'd definitely try again if they came out with an updated version for steel bumpers.

Camera works great during the day. Crystal clear. But at night it looks like it's snowing behind me.
