What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

I'm boring...I had a pair of regular Mopar running boards/steps ready to go on when I picked up my 2 door yesterday.
I have to admit that I am very impressed on how solid feeling they are when I put my 250lb fatazz on them.
Couldn't be easier to install either. Captive bolts on running board, guide them through the holes in the pinch seam, put a nut on them, then a bolt up from the bottom. 2 mounts/side on 2 door, and I think 3/side on JLU.

I am boring too. I have those same steps waiting at the dealership for when my 2door Rubi arrives (hopefully soon!). I am vertically challenged and need the steps and these are similar to what I had on my ‘99 TJ. They worked well for me for 19 years. I won’t be doing any serious rock crawling as mine will mostly be a beach Jeep so I don't think I will miss the rock rails.

LOD Offroad Signature Slider/Steps were installed yesterday.

To answer the usual questions:

• No, they don't cover the pinch seam
  
• No, they can't be installed with the Rubicon rails in place
• They do not require additional holes to be drilled, but it does come with the hardware to add more mounting points for more intense rock crawling
• They have a flat top that I think will work better for anyone who wants a functional step as well as a slider. (I specifically opted for these since the other sliders I found were strictly tubes, which I thought my mom would struggle with.)

Has anyone has experience on thier JK with the RedRocks side rails/armor? I want these for my JL so bad but they do not have anything out yet.

We also understand some don't want LED lights so you can always remove the lights and add a plug to give it a cleaner look.
