I installed the plastics ones. They look nice, but I don’t even step on the sills so they’re just there for aesthetics.

I’m waiting for the aftermarket options. I’ve seen JK versions that offer much better coverage than the Mopars.

I think I will wait as well, as OldGuyNewJeep said they mainly are for aesthetics, unless you need to stand on them to get to the roof which I don't. Your wheels look much better. Transforms Vida nicely!

I also have a roll of Xpel paint protection film at the ready, to add more coverage if needed once the sill guards are in. I’ve thought about just using it on its own, but I like the look of the sill guards better. My girl is all about looks. Lol

Just stubby antenna, and front seat handles. Waiting to call at 8 about seat covers, found the caltrend neosupreme, and they have 20% sale today for July 4th. Just want to make sure I call the right size.

I really hate to disagree with my good friends,,,,,,,,,,,but,I for whatever reason tend to drag my feed across the sill as I enter and exit. I installed the 3M film on both of my sills to protect them from scratching due to people like me. In particular the raised painted surface that butts up against the inner plastic door trim. Hopefully, someone will soon make a sill guard that has a lip to protect that surface. The MOPAR ones are as you say, strictly for aesthetics.

Well the Ocean Blue is at the dealer picking her up this afternoon. Will test drive her before I have them throw on my MTZs to make sure everything is right on. Excited to be almost finished with this February 20th odyssey!

If they would "Prep" correctly you should not have to check.

The angles are a smidge different, so I don’t know how much that’s contributing to her beefier after look. The only actual difference is the black wheels. I love, love, love how they turned out!!!!!

Wow, that looks amazing! What was the name of the stuff you used again? Can an amateur apply it? My Jeep is a clone of yours, except for the wheels now! lol

Definitely plan on checking the tire pressure before the test drive then after that I’m taking it back to the garage to swap out the stock to my mudders then I’ll check that PSI again after they mount those. Exciting Day!

how come it says 18-23 mph . i thought two dr was 18-25 ?

Has anyone installed door sill guards? It appears the plastic offers the most protection. I wonder why the stainless version is not the same size as the plastic?

I installed the plastic ones more because of the color than coverage. I think they look good but it's not a step we use much. I think good rock sliders would be better as a step, depending on what shows up in the aftermarket.
