I finaly got back to Kansas to pick her up man does this thing drive smooth or what !!
So glad I orderd one! I love the 6 speed stick also very fun

Very nice man, grats! ITs very tempting to grab a 6 speed, but I end up in crazy CA traffic at times and I would go nutz :/

Why do you want to scare these great people on this thread ? If you would research more
you will find all the issues were dated before the 2dr. build. What you posted is also 4dr.
Please find me a 2dr. that has this problem. And only 540 will be recalled 4dr's.
Note it states: SUV

The Problem: The intermediate steering shaft may have not been properly welded and may split, causing a loss of steering responsiveness and increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the intermediate steering shaft and replace, as as necessary, for free.

Very nice man, grats! ITs very tempting to grab a 6 speed, but I end up in crazy CA traffic at times and I would go nutz :/

I hear ya man I go back to work in Phoenix next week with it see how she does in traffic I use to have a 5 speed ranger back in school. I’m a small guy 5ft 4 and the ranger had a small cockpit and the the JL has one too! Well to me it seems too, everthing is with in reach feels so sporty to me. I’ll put the 1200 mile test to it Sunday morning!

Morning all! Look forward to this weeks deliveries, and one of those damn well better be alltimesaresoon.

My window sticker popped this morning, nothing on build sheet yet. Jg shows it left yard and released by consignee on the 30th.

Looking at other orders appears the trip to Dallas takes 7 to 11 days, then a truck ride to Austin!

I’m use to old clutches or semi trucks from work. when I test drove mine before I bought it today I went to push that bad boy in and was dammmm smooth as butter there so nice

Yup! Saw yours when I was looking up travel times. Alliance is in the Dallas area and my POC has a code for Dallas, so guessing that is where mine will end up. Then a truck haul to Austin.

I was very impressed with the clutch! I'm used to more sports car type manuals and this one is very nice! Regarding the tire pressure, my sales guy said the techs lowered it from 38 to 36 psi while they were getting it ready for me. As I said in a previous post, I think it drives great on the hwy, better than in the city. My dad was with me when I picked it up and thinks I was over steering it. Definitely takes a little getting used to, but I love it!!!
