I thought I'd get 1 locking lug nut on each wheel with my Rubi. But none? None on the spare tire either?
My 2dr. showed up with no locking lug nut on spare. Dealer asked me if I wanted one and I said no. The Mopar locking is ugly. Looks like a huge sore thumb sticking off the wheel. 8-)

Morning all! Look forward to this weeks deliveries, and one of those damn well better be alltimesaresoon.

My window sticker popped this morning, nothing on build sheet yet. Jg shows it left yard and released by consignee on the 30th.

Looking at other orders appears the trip to Dallas takes 7 to 11 days, then a truck ride to Austin!

Glad you can get them. BUT everyone should look at your build sheet.
Jeep was to provide a locking lug nut on the spare. Hundreds of locking
lug nuts that Jeep has that they didn't provide is money in their pockets !!!
Call you dealer get one put on or mailed to you. (this may be Rubicons only)
Must be only for Rubicons. I just checked my build sheet and it's not listed.

Tried for the extra incentive options, but no luck.

Thank you for your response.

I'm glad to hear you were able to take ownership of your new Jeep Wrangler JL and I have updated our records to reflect this information.

The average order to delivery time frame is commonly 10 - 12 weeks from when your order was placed. A review of our ordering system shows your order fell within this average time frame with no delays experienced.

I have updated our records to reflect your delivery information and appreciate your patience throughout this process. You would certainly be more than welcome to speak further with your selling dealership should you wish to discuss any further delivery concerns directly.

If going forward we can be of any further assistance to any vehicle questions or concerns you may have, please feel free to reach out to us 24/7 at 877-426-5337.

Sincerely,

Jeff

The back-up camera will actually block the rear tire from coming off easily. Not saying someone cannot just break it and rip it off. But, the spare is blocked from coming off by the camera
I'd rather not trust a flimsy plastic lock against the hands of a would-be thief personally.

For the record, that is moot in my case, since I bought a matched set of 5 locking lugs. NYC living and all. :lipssealed:

There has been some, very limited, posts on protecting the body colored rear fenders on the JL 2 doors. Has anybody experienced any damage to their rear painted fenders yet? How about people who have installed larger tires or reduced backspaced aftermarket wheels that allow the tires to protrude beyond the fenders?

I also read where the factory might be applying a clear vinyl protective film on the rear painted fenders. Was this done on all colors or just blue?

I noticed also that no locking nut on the spare. Fortunately I had a new surplus set from my Ram. When I got it there were locking nuts on the wheels and I also found a new set still in the bag in the glove box. I used one of them. Only thing is I need 2 " keys ". Not to big a deal.
I was happy for this. I HATE locking nuts.

They do come with film on the front of the rear fenders

@3uPh0riK

You want either:

Gorilla Automotive 96643DX Chrome Factory Style Wheel Lock System (14mm x 1.50 Thread Size, 20-Pack)

or

Gorilla Automotive 96643BDX Black Factory Style Wheel Lock System (14mm x 1.50 Thread Size, 20-Pack)

Chrome is avail on amazon.com right now, but not the black. If you want black they can be had for the same price at Summit Racing.
