Stock trackbar? That's one problem. Need a beefier one. Factory one is barely adequate How many miles on your ko2s? Mine had 23k miles and
shimmied and dw despite being "balanced" they don't wear well imo. I didn't catch how many miles are on yours but i bet they are huge contributor.

Threads on shimmy, dw, etc too many to count. Stock trackbar is too weak. Bushings not hard enough. Steer smarts yeti w pro bushing is my recommendation.

A through shaft stabilizer is a huge improvement to stiffen up feel though it doesn't fix as much as it hides the root of problem. Won't cause right pull that some others do. Factory stabilizer is trash.

Drag link and tie rod would be my next thing to go after. When i went to 35s, i had minor shimmy to i upgraded tierod and draglink.

No shimmy for 25k miles now and on falken wildpeaks which blow ko2s away Imho.

Ill repeat what many others know, but if you want decent steering with no dw or shimmy you're gonna need to upgrade some things. otherwise, keep messing around with bandaids and let your frustration continue with factory parts. There wouldn't be hundreds of dw, shimmy, and steering issue threads if the factory stuff was sufficient. 3 diff jeeps over 20 years and I'm just telling you the reality of jeeps. I love mine, just saying, do it right.

Just put the two front to the back and see if that helps. I thought I saw just 20000 miles on your Jeep, Right?

Replaced the track bar with an upgraded one, gonna be replacing the tires as well and planning to go up to 35’s. I like the wild peaks but they’re also a bit heavier than ko2’s

So I recently picked up a 2020 wrangler rubicon and have a steering shimmy at highway speeds(video attached). I took a video of play in the track bar on the axle side that I’m thinking is the cause, wondering if you guys think it’s enough play to cause the shimmy I have.

I guess I would not worry about a few extra pounds vs having a better tire. But then I run a 40" Nitto TG :). I will say this tire is made in Japan (by Toyo) and it's smooth as butter with no balancing unlike some other tires I have used.

27k miles on your ko2s i bet if you throw new tires on the shimmy is gone. I still recommend replacing factory components in the long term like drag link, tie rod, stabilizer, etc and beef up the front end imo.

As to heavier tires you'll barely notice especially if we are talking of the same size. But you will notice your tires balancing better and lasting longer so that's a plus. Falken just came out with the wildpeak at4s, but the at3s are still available from what i see. There are other good tires out there, I'm sure, but as you can tell I'm no fan of the ko2s longevity.

my wrangler 2021 was shaking at 70 mph when hitting a bump under warranty. The dealership is putting a stern damper on it. I change the front tire and it seems to have stopped, but I’m also getting the alignment checked.

Itll mask it at best, then the stabilizer will go bad and the shimmy will be back. You can run without a stabilizer if you have the right components in good working order.

I run this trackbar and it's legit. Got it when i first had dw in my JLUR and never had dw return.

Common folk tale, individual results vary. There is a reason both Ford and Jeep recalled their steering stabilizers specifically for this issue. There can be nothing else wrong and still have a harmonic pulsation develop under specific conditions. Hence, the damper.

So the dealership replaced the steering stabilizer (as I expected they would) with the updated newer version and while I’m not quite buying them saying it was the “cause” it drives pretty nice now, much better than I expected it would. I’m still going to be upgrading the rest of the steering components, but I’m satisfied for the time being.
