We had the guy with 392 who accidentally rolled over down there and his insurance covered him. I am thinking they may say no on this one?

I'm curious about the logistics of getting that thing out of there. It's not like they can drag it off the trail with 3 wheels.Anyone want to ballpark how much it's gonna take to make that JT whole again... including the cost of towing his dumb ass out of the Hot Tub...?![]()
ThanksDynatrac or Teraflex for ball joints. Dynatrac are more expensive, but you can rebuild them without removing them from the axle. Teraflex are cheaper but when they're shot you gotta push the old ones out and replace them. Both have snap rings on the upper ball joint.
For knuckles, the Mopar steel knuckles or Reid knuckles.
I'm certainly no expert, but a tow rig with a winch attached to the front of the JT could likely pull him up and out and then tow him by the rear wheels. I'm just not sure how much the bill would be to get him back to a repair shop and then make the repairs.I'm curious about the logistics of getting that thing out of there. Any recovery experts know how they'd get this back onto pavement?
I am also intrigued as well. Not an easy recovery with 4 wheels from where it is located on Hell’s Revenge let alone 3.I'm curious about the logistics of getting that thing out of there. It's not like they can drag it off the trail with 3 wheels.

It was caused by those KO2s that slide away in the rain. He just happened to get a good set.Well, it looks like this guy saved his brewski, so that's good. ?

Wait until they find out that a replacement axle can be month and months out. I wold image that the cost to get towed out of there, then get the vehicle loaded up and shipped home or to a repair facility, and the cost for them to get home, and the cost to repair the Jeep will be north of $10,000.Good. Stupid should be expensive.
I will just say it so others don't have to. There are many that are wheeling 40 on stock axle. I say they are not wheeling, they are carefully driving and taking lines that you can do with stock tires kind of off roading. Very Very careful very slow off roading. I love the one Youtube video that claims they are wheeling stock axles with 40, then in the video, they drive it like a baby, they say they have chromoly axles in the back RCV axle in the front, the housing are trusted and they have re-geared the axle. Yup stock axles with $5000 worth of upgrades.....Just a word of warning: larger tires and heavier wheels are dangerous!
I think it's just that KO2s were actually secretly designed for low rider hop competitions. Designed specifically to hook up only after the tires get air.It was caused by those KO2s that slide away in the rain. He just happened to get a good set.
Yep. Hopefully lessons were learned.Wait until they find out that a replacement axle can be month and months out. Quoting the ridiculous article, I thought I made my sarcasm clear, but I failed to convey that in text. Jeeps are already designed to go larger the stock rubicon; the author of the article that OP posted is crazy.I will just say it so others don't have to.
