So the other day I was making a couple U-turns and I rubbed. Is that normal? One of the turns I came up on the sidewalk but the other I didn’t. I’d have thought that fully stock that wouldn’t be a thing but I guess not.

Fully stock? Nope you should NOT be rubbing. Oversized tires? Yup very real possibility.

It has the Firestone mud terrains that come stock. Not oversized
Where is it rubbing? The fender, the fender liner, the LCAs?

I’m not sure? I’m assuming it’s the liner but don’t know. What’s the LCA?
It’s not flexing so I can’t imagine it’d be the actual fender

Yea youre gonna have to get under there and see if anything is close. LCA is lower control arm.

Check your fender well liners to see if one is sagging a little off of the inside area next to the tire. It’s a problem that has been reported by some folks. It happened in my wife‘s Sahara when I was giving a ride to a rather “large” couple, both sitting on the passenger side of the vehicle. The rear passenger wheel, because of the tilt of the Jeep, was occasionally rubbing the inner fender well liner.

As long as there is some mud residue, you can normally see the rub sections as clean smudges.

LCA = Lower Control Arm

May want to look at the bumper closure pieces.
