Rubicon fenders are set higher and have more clearance in the wheel well - about 2 inches.Thanks. What do you mean by the fenders being different... like the fenders themselves are different shaped and all that?
20 Willy, do you have any pictures to share post rubicon spring swap and what spring numbers? I also did a spring swap and amWhen I added Rubicon springs to my JLUW I also added 1/2 teraflex spacers to the front to level this off. I got this idea from others on here.

Interested how yours sits. I got about .75” rake, so I might add coil spacers after I jump to 285/75/17 tires. A larger/heavier spare tire will also naturally lower the rear end, reduce rake.
Springs were two sizes in the front to 60/61 and four in the rear to 91/92.
Thanks. You got the same numbers I got. I’m looking at jumping up to 285/75/17, possibly add .75” coils spacer front and a .5” rear to knock some rake down. Currently got 285/70/17.Springs were two sizes in the front to 60/61 and four in the rear to 91/92.
I feel real dumb right now, all this time I thought the fenders on a Rubicon were different….but it looks they are just installed higherRubicon fenders are set higher and have more clearance in the wheel well - about 2 inches.
You can get them aftermarket and swap it on your willys

You still running the OEM Destination tires?I believe they're different and the latch pockets are deeper to allow them to sit higher.
They’re actually wider as well. Easy upgrade for an “optical” lift.I feel real dumb right now, all this time I thought the fenders on a Rubicon were different….but it looks they are just installed higher
I am, I figure I will let these run their course before upgrading. I have a little under 20k on them now and they still have a lot of tread. I'm not sure if I'll go too much larger. Maybe 33 or 34. I have a 6'6" garage door and if I go too high I won't be able to fit it in the garage any longer. You still running the OEM Destination tires?
You can fit 285/75/17 with the springs you now got. I actually ditched the stock tires within the first 500 miles and mounted 285/70/17 grabber a/t’s. Did you trim those front fender/bumper panels?I am, I figure I will let these run their course before upgrading. I have a little under 20k on them now and they still have a lot of tread.
