I’ll be curious to hear your feedback comparing the Recon to the DSS. I’m running a similar setup, 392-tons-Recon coils on Kings. I haven’t had a chance to even test mine out yet, but I was debating DSS from the get go and am really curious to hear from someone who can actually compare the two. Always enjoy following your Jeep on the gram btw!

Is your job hiring? Because I need a job that pays as good as yours to have that kind of disposable income for mods ?

so far I can only comment on the on road performance of each system. Both are really good but the DSS is much better at taking impacts better. Im going on a road trip next week and I should be hitting some trails on the east coast so I’ll give you a review later

Do you happen to have any pictures of the lower mounts on the axle?

And I would assume your axles are a wee bit wider than stock, but any issues with the coilovers getting close to the frame during flex?
Here’s a couple of pics of the lower mounts

yeah I’m 90” from edge to edge. I have zero issues with hitting the frame

I do like how the dual shocks should in theory balance the torquing forces on the axle whereas my single coilover mounts aft of the axle likely causing some toque.

Great picture at Top of the World in Moab!
I‘m not sure if Rebel Off-road is a franchise or not, but there is one in Southern California that you should avoid at all costs!

Thanks. I love TOW. One of my all time favorite trails!

not sure what happened to you but I’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. Any time an issue came up they fixed it right away. Plus all of their products are top notch.

I’ve seen very few good reviews on them, yours being one of them. Lots of horror stories.

honestly not sure where you’ve been seeing these reviews but I've vetted their shop and their guys know what they’re doing. Do you have any links on these reviews?

Just do a quick Google search man. They don’t have a great reputation even on these forums.

I purchased my build through them, which was close to 50k worth. Taylor was very responsive, gave good advice and really was a good experience. Granted my local shop did the install but as far as dealing with Rebel they were great. EVO would be the other mainstream coilover kit and I’ve yet to hear good things on the ride quality of their kit. And I ran their stuff on a previous Jeep
