On the jeep tracker how long before the build date does the build sheet show up or is it usually at the same time? I understand the window sticker is affter it’s built
For mine it was one or two days before window sticker showed up, while it showed In Production.

Oh ok thank you I for some reason was thinking it would show up like a day or two before it entered production so I was thinking that when it showed up I’d know within a few days it’d be built instead of it appearing at the same time

Cross posting this from another thread. Anyone else have a 6MT on order that is not progressing? This may be a factor....

I'm still on TBD for the estimated delivery date - seven days after it moved to Shipped. Last I checked it was waiting on a train. I ordered from Mark Dodge in LA and I have an unrelated trip to Baton Rouge coming up soon. REALLY hoping I can combine it with picking up my Jeep. If it doesn't work out I'll probably have to rent a car one-way to go get it or have them bring it closer to meet me because my husband is having major shoulder surgery later in the month.

In personal news, I just returned home from spending nine days with my stepmother - some may remember she has an inoperable brain tumor and elected not to receive any treatment. I was there more than I was home in February. She's "transitioning" as the hospice people say so it could be any time. My stepsister is with her and I'll go back again soon. Meanwhile, my (college-age) daughter's dog who lives at home with us has cancer - sarcoma on the neck, not feasible to treat due to her age - so I left my stepmother in hospice care to come home to provide hospice care to the dog. Just hoping they can both hang on until my daughter is able to get home on Monday. Her spring break starts Friday but she is a student-athlete and is in Arizona until Sunday evening competing. On December 30 when I ordered my Jeep my stepmother hadn't yet been diagnosed and the dog was fine. I seriously feel like I'm insane right now.

I NEED MY JEEP TO BRIGHTEN THINGS UP.

06 2dr Wrangler TJ - Total loss 01/01/2023 :(
Good afternoon, good people! Checking in here... just to join the fun! ?

This is admittedly long winded, but bear with me.

Having been a daily jeep driver for 16yrs I will say that the JLs caught my eye the second they hit the scene! I loved the JL's design. The box shape was back-to-basics and seemed to actually own the larger chassis vs the previous model (don't hate me ?, the JKs just did nothing for me - Can't completely explain it, but they looked more like a tonka truck to me than the silhouette my mind's eye had become accustomed to... a jeep body slightly stretch-eeed over a Hummer frame ?). In 2019 or so I went with a friend of mine that was looking for a new Cherokee to a dealer and in the process, test drove a new JL. I loved the interior design and was pleasantly surprised that there was still the slight tussled feel to the ride that I have come to expect and love, but I was totally turned off by the technology. WHAT the HeLL was it all for? Not to mention there was not a manual transmission on the lot. Push button ignition!? Don't get me started! LOL.

I knew even then that if I was in the market for a new Wrangler, I wanted a Sahara trim with body-colored fenders and top; white, on white, on white. After 10+yrs of the upkeep of my TJs fenders and top, it was one of my must haves to push me out of my rudimentary comfort zone. AND heated seats, because- well, just because. I was immediately told.. "a Sahara, with manual transmission? you will have to order that!". My small mind jumped to.. well at least I will get to forgo the push button start nonsense.. and was next told.."oh no, the manual has a push button start too, isnt that amazing!?". NO ITS NOT, its crazy actually. A manual transmission, with a push button start!? How am I supposed to pop the clutch and be on my way when left stranded with a dead battery in some perilous place with a serial killer on my heels? :bandit: I left there again quite content with my tried-and-true TJ.

ALL that said, a total loss wreck 12:48am New Year's morning (NOT my fault) forced me into the new vehicle market. I was not happy to say the least. Actually, a little depressed. ? My 2dr manual TJ had treated me beyond well and I would have drove her for another 16 years with no complaints! I LOVED my jeep! Quite content with my manual locks and windows, six speed shift and *gasp* my manual tune radio/cd player! Alas, here I sat.

I realized quickly that the technology I was so turned off by, is pretty damn standard across the board at this point AND the manual transmission was no longer even an option on the Sahara (because of course, right!?). I worked it out internally and was able to concede in my own head to the auto transmission. That was a big one for me because for 1. I have a hard time understanding the point of an off-road 4X4 with auto transmission and for 2. I said NEVER... but the truth is, AT tires and all, my TJ had not been "off road" in 8+ years outside of a little creek time here and there.

I shopped and built and built and shopped for about a month. Inventory was pretty stocked with 2.0s and sky one touches. Neither of which I wanted. I kept landing on a Sahara Altitude build because it was cheaper with the things I did want than a Sahara build + blacked out rims, but I LOVED the look of the High Altitudes! It seems to be a touchy trim with extreme opinions, but for me...??!! I just couldn't get past the price, UNTIL.. I landed in the "Guide: Wrangler Order, Build, Tracking and Delivery Process" thread. I dove in deep, and I determined that below MSRP pricing was absolutely a thing and I set out find it in as close proximity as possible.

In the end, I placed a 2023 High Altitude order 02/20/2023 for less than I was able to build a Sahara or Sahara Altitude for! ?

And now, I WAIT! :time: In a State of -Wrangler.ReVeRiE

If there’s a delay again at least it’ll be positive because it’ll give me a little more time to boost my credit score

Meanwhile, the interest rates continue to climb ?

Your dealer should have access to a transit logistics system such as Rubicon VLS (not the same as the Jeep Rubicon) that provides excellent detail especially if by rail. It shows when and where it was loaded in Toledo, the carrier and the ETA to drop. It also updates location, date and time every time the railcar passes an RFID reader with an updated ETA. If your dealer is reluctant to provide this information don't hesitate to push for it.

I checked with them last Friday and it was still waiting on a train then. Have been otherwise occupied so I figured I’d check in again tomorrow. It’s not yet “go time” as far as decision-making goes for travel, we’ve already got financing lined up, and I can’t sell my 4Runner just yet because of having to travel back and forth to my stepmother’s house.

I’m in the same boat. Been built since 2/22 and no info as to when it’ll be shipped. Very frustrating!

For what it's worth I would stay in close contact with your dealer. Mine never showed as delivered and didn't show as shipped until the day it was delivered.
