I’m somewhat of a similar feeling with mine but Im thinking at least wait until the warranty expires first

My understanding is depending on when they were built, like mine was built after the recall was announced

I lowered my windshield for the first time the other day

My thoughts we’re just that the 2 door is slightly lighter than the other two so that maybe the little bit less weight would be the saving grace for the weaker system

So far 1500 miles on mine with a 400ish mile trip to Maine with no issues so far. On the way up I was cruising in 6th at 72mph. Probably will do similar on the way home

lol I literally also asked a friend who has a 24 on order this because I’ve been wondering this as well

I was just curious if maybe lift and tires added to the stress of the already weak setup

By the lower gearing do you mean what the sport has or the 4.10s of the rubicons?

I forgot if it’s been said but I was just wondering if anyone knows if the few that have had the catastrophic issues, if they were stock or modified. Just curious to see if there was a common denominator for the unlucky few

Just got over 500 miles on mine.so far no issues. I’ve also generally been shifting at 2k unless I need the extra power for acceleration. Mostly stop and go but a little more highway cruising lately with a 400+ mile trip one way at the end of the month for vacation

I was in an hour of stop and go traffic the other day as well as on the way home took the parkway in 6th gear with no issues so I’ve given the clutch both ends of the test different conditions

Mt delivery 7/7/23- 4hundred something miles and no issues so far. This past trip today I even did some quick acceleration since I’m almost at the 500 mile breakin. No real mods to the Willy’s sport other than cosmetic

Makes for an interesting conversation piece lol

I attempted but failed to fix a half door water leak and added a flag pole for an upcoming football game

The way it’s worded to me means any built after that February date are good to sell

Mine was built in May so there’s that too

Fun now, the ride home was nerve wracking lol

My dealer checked for any open recalls before they let me take it home
