I actually did today, Just came back from another dealership and ordered a rubicon 3.6 instead, I just couldn't do it with the BS anymore. So in 6 weeks time Ill have the new Rubicon yay!So anyone jumping ship yet?
Love that ideaIt is hard to see what they can/will do to "compensate" for waiting and the short depreciation window with the 2019s.
I would be satisfied with a Mopar MaxCare Warranty - that would take the sting out of the depreciation hit and cover any mechanical problems with the turbo or electrical system that might pop up.
Good luck, I know you've been here a while!!!I actually did today, Just came back from another dealership and ordered a rubicon 3.6 instead, I just couldn't do it with the BS anymore. So in 6 weeks time Ill have the new Rubicon yay!
Total different situation for u , hopefully they can do something for all of usProblem for me with a warranty is I’m a lease buyer. So I’ll be under warranty the entire time, anyway.
I want $, frankly. The RV is dropping and MF is rising, meaning leases get more expensive on these vehicles on both ends.
I am in the same boat. This stinksProblem for me with a warranty is I’m a lease buyer. So I’ll be under warranty the entire time, anyway.

Wow - that's the closest thing to information we've gotten so far... do you mind sharing the FB threads?Hey everyone,
New to the group, but I’ve been watching for a while now. I ordered the 2.0 Turbo a couple weeks ago also, but after watching all this, I went back and changed my order last night. There are a couple plant employees on some FB threads that have confirmed a halt on Turbo production, as well as some sort of re-engineering. I’m just not willing to take the chance at this time. We’ll see what happens when I upgrade in a few years.

For lease deals. Even if the MY19 goes up in price it will still be less monthly. Assuming you get the same percentage off invoice.Problem for me with a warranty is I’m a lease buyer. So I’ll be under warranty the entire time, anyway.
