It is hard to see what they can/will do to "compensate" for waiting and the short depreciation window with the 2019s.
I would be satisfied with a Mopar MaxCare Warranty - that would take the sting out of the depreciation hit and cover any mechanical problems with the turbo or electrical system that might pop up.

FCA: "Sir, we are told your new Wrangler may have a few scratches upon delivery...."

Problem for me with a warranty is I’m a lease buyer. So I’ll be under warranty the entire time, anyway.

I want $, frankly. The RV is dropping and MF is rising, meaning leases get more expensive on these vehicles on both ends.

Hey everyone,

New to the group, but I’ve been watching for a while now. I ordered the 2.0 Turbo a couple weeks ago also, but after watching all this, I went back and changed my order last night. There are a couple plant employees on some FB threads that have confirmed a halt on Turbo production, as well as some sort of re-engineering. I’m just not willing to take the chance at this time. We’ll see what happens when I upgrade in a few years.

Bob (Tinley Park, IL).

Wow - that's the closest thing to information we've gotten so far... do you mind sharing the FB threads?

For lease deals. Even if the MY19 goes up in price it will still be less monthly. Assuming you get the same percentage off invoice.
