I had this happen to me and it was based on a lengthy cold snap with temps below freezing. I don’t garage my jeep. It went away after the temp got past 40 degrees. I have a 30 min commute each way. Never got the oil temp past 186 degrees.

It’s shooting me error codes P04EC and P04EE

It does it when it fist turns on but it does go away after 30 seconds. But when I kit it again it will go back to 1800rpm. It also displays the CEL

New to the forum and could use your help. I think this could be something that others have dealt with. My car has the CEL and the engine idle’s at 1800 and 3k, depending on if I am driving or not. I have a link to the video of what is happening. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Chris

Your dealer is giving you wrong info. They are cranking out Jeep's as fast as they can make them. A couple of weeks ago they closed the plant for the week. People need to take vacation. I dislike how much salespeople get things wrong.

I do think it’s what they have on hand to build with just in time parts. It’s been rumored that they have certain Jeep’s built with a body and an engine and when the right order comes along they send it right in. They may have the parts right there to get the sport s done. Maybe it jumps ahead?
