Well guys, I christened my Jeep. I took my baby on a pretty aggressive trail with my 6 year old daughter. She kept telling me to go faster... So I did. I ran over a fairly large fallen tree that snapped and a limb flew up hitting my door pretty hard. I have a small dent and a few scratches from the encounter.

The first cut is definitely the deepest...
Well now you got it out of the way! Plus, you have kids which means scratches. I learned that when my son dropped his bike against my Garage Queen Corvette.

Actually worked well in my case. Once I got the scratch it became a “Drive it like you stole it” car. Now you can do the same!

Hello there unicorn Jeeples!:jk:
Hope everyone had a good day!
It’s not easy combining two days into one, but Monday & her ugly sister Tuesday are behind us! That much closer to Friiiiiiday!:like:
That much closer to the 31st, which the dealer says my Jeep should land in the local railyard

So I just came back from a couple of days in France+Spain.
A few random observations:
1. I missed Wranglers!!! I only saw three in 5 days. Felt a little homesick.
2. The 4-door looks absolutely monstrous parked next to a tiny Renault or Peugeot! Yet another perspective that made me happy I ordered a 2-door. It’s really all I need (or more than I need).
3. My rental was a small Volvo with the much debated ESS feature. It didn’t bother me one bit. Granted the local food and wine mellow me out, but hopefully ESS won’t bother me stateside either.
I missed y’all!

I just ordered my 2018 2 door Rubicon today. Granite crystal gray, premium soft top, manual transmission, leather seats, infotainment system, safety group, led lighting, tow group. After taxes and fees 50k. Did I get ripped off? Still excited to get it even though it looks like it will be a while

Looks GREAT just close to my 2dr red rubi w/pst steel led tow etc ordered 1/24/18 supposed June 4 build date.
They said some weird dates to me. Last Friday they said another month and it arrived today lol. Don’t listen to them. No one really knows. It’s a magical Jeep fairy that just poops it out at some point.

Trying not to get too excited, especially since it’s Jeep chat, but it’s supposedly being built as I type...

Edit: I just looked at your attachment. Dude, cancel and go elsewhere. No one is paying MSRP, and they tacked on a bunch of horseshit to add insult.

Hmm... I’m 47k all-in for a nearly identical build (except I got more options), so 50k is not a great deal. What’s your state’s tax rate?

My build:

6sp Manual, Black PST, Black Leather, Black Fenders, LED, Tow, Cold Weather, Proximity, Safety, Steel, Polished Lip, Infotainment, Rubber Mats

If you don’t have affiliate pricing through your employer, sign up for Tread Lightly to get it. 1% below invoice. Dealer gets paid by FCA, so they’re happy. You don’t have to negotiate, so you’re happy. Win-win.

Many have negotiated 5% under invoice, but that is highly dependent on where you live (or how far you’re willing to travel).
