Sure, I read the post from LAST YEAR. I also read a bunch of posts on here where people were concerned that some options they want are unavailable, on back order or rumored to cause some other kinda delays.
My point is, I think it would be helpful to see what’s coming out. Might relieve some anxiety from those who are hoping they didn’t order something that will cause them to be waiting 6-12 months.

Last or this year, it’s still relevant and explains why no one THIS YEAR can understand why things arent built in a specific order. There is no order or consistent pattern and that old post explains why. Supply demands and supply production/availability fluctuate and dont seem to stay consistent throughout the same year, meaning the option that is unavailable now may be available next week. People are forced to just guess and rumor. Need to take that post into consideration I think.

Some of you are lucky. I orderedy 2023 392XR first week of June, until now I have no VIN yet. Dealer has no idea why. All I had was an email From Jeep to Congratulate me on my order.
I'm running out of patience. Maybe a 911 Turbo If I don't get a VIN at the end of the month.

So I tried to get a better deal at Dillons in Idaho. They APPEARED to beat my local dealers price by $1200. But wait. We have a $700 ‘safety package’ and 'exclusive financing.'

I thanked them for their time. They got back to me and scrubbed the cost of the 'safety package,' so I got interested again. But then they wanted a $3k non-refundable deposit. I asked what would happen if their exclusive lender denied my application or accepted it at exotic rates. He said I'd lose my deposit.

I again thanked him for his time.

I've filled out the online form at Clutch Auto Sales. I wish they just had a phone number.

Wow, so Clutch Auto Sales really came through (I'm going to resist a bad pun here).

Now, instead of paying $68k out-the-door at the dealer, I'm paying a little under $62k (again, out-the-door). That's huge! I have to fly to phoenix to pick it up, but I get to listen to my diesel purr the whole way home!

Anxiously awaiting my VIN.

From what I've been able to tell on the forum, VINs for MY23 haven't started coming through until the last couple of weeks. You ordered a 392, from what I've heard those are gonna take a bit of extra time. Also production on 23s hasn't even started yet either.

Question for the group. If you found a ‘22 that was similarly equipped to your ‘23 order on a dealer lot… would you buy it and cancel?

Picking up a 2022 Tuesday. I have waited 2 months for a VIN for my 23 392XR. I found a 22 at msrp. Sounds dumb but factoring in todays value for my trade versus 6 months to a year from now… I decided it was worth doing with the 22.

Question for the group. If you found a ‘22 that was similarly equipped to your ‘23 order on a dealer lot… would you buy it and cancel?

Most people here that have ordered one are (honestly) getting a significantly better price than what's typically available off the lot. See the spreadsheet in my sig for those dealerships.

If you find one on the lot that's what you want and you're ok with the price then grab it. You won't have to wait 3, 6, 9, whatever months, but you won't get to specify every detail.

Are you thinking that Jeep has changed their build scheduling strategy in the past few months and that you'll be able to figure out their "new strategy" by seeing what comes off the line first? Good luck with that.

I’m curious why Cryptostickers shows so few orders updated in the past 24 hrs…. Could they be running out of 22s to build? Probably not, but one can hope…
