That’s good to know since I also have the XR package and steel bumpers and was looking into ones that didn’t require any modification. It was between these and the rokblokz, but I prefer the more OEM look of the WTs.

Right above your dead pedal is a plug. I have that plug too. Can you tell me what that is for? Seems like it's for some aftermarket accessory but I'm not sure.

OBD port. Used by techs for on-board diagnostics (check engine lights) and used by some tuners to plug in laptops or programmers.

Too hard to take off the top with a Sunrider attached? Certainly not. It is 6 bolts and a bracket. I can remove my Sunrider by myself with a cordless screwdriver (not a ratchet - afraid of over-torquing) in about 6 minutes. Undoubtedly the best mod on Rocky. I use it all the time.

Those blend in very nicely.
Are they easy to put on?

They are easy to install, but I just tossed the provided hardware aside and used my own. I suggest just getting the fender flare connectors kit ($15) off Amazon and use that to mount them, looks better and much easier than the screws and stuff they provide. The two outer fender holes have a larger cut in the flap, so I cut the two piece connector to make a washer and used the pop rivet. Christmas tree push connectors on the other three worked fine and it’s connected solid. The provided hardware looked more difficult and didn’t seem like it would be as polished of a look when installed.

Probably my favorite mod has been the diabolical slipstream. I like running without top or doors on and the slipstream allows me to securely carry my work laptop or other items when in this configuration. It's not water proof, by any stretch of the imagination, so you still have to be prepared to have things get wet, but it lets the Jeep fit into my day to day life more easily.

I’ve been looking at these and they seem perfect besides the lack of waterproofing. I haven’t seen any options that are weather resistant.

Best modification I’ve made for every single drive has been an Exact Center steering stabilizer. Completely changes the way it drives, and all for the better. My JL drove well from the start, but short wheel vases and solid axles make Jeeps a tad twitchy.at best. With the ExactCenter mine tracks like it’s on rails.
