Are you keeping your 275? If not, let me know. I may be interested in buying it off of you.

Just got word this morning from Midland that the MXT-575 is in stock. Placed my order immediately. Just got a message that they shipped it. Been wanting one of these for the Rubicon for quite a while.
Yeah I ordered immediately as well and only an hour or so later I got an email it shipped. And just as I was wondering how long it would take. I think I will install it behind the dash or under driver's seat. and mount an ethernet port on the dash so when not in use it is very clean.

We will have the MXT575 available and we have created a new bundle package to save you some money. The bundle includes the MXT575, the Midland 6db GMRS/NMO antenna, the remote mount cable, our JL/JT Mic Mount and then you choose our front mount cowl bracket (can be mounted to either side of Jeep) or our rear mount bracket. We will send you the right length coax for whichever mount you choose. Here's a link to the bundle: MXT575 Bundle

Do you have different length antenna cable for sale? I have only seen the 6m length and would like something shorter.

Yes, we include a 12’ cable with our front mount. It is a midland cable with NMO mount on one end and the removable PL-259 on the other. It makes for very easy mounting. I will put a “custom cable length” option on the website by this weekend so you can order any length.

The MXT575 radios will arrive to us tomorrow and we can start shipping on Saturday!

And be able to order only the cable? I already have antenna, mount. Just waiting for the 575 to arrive.

Did you find a place to mount it? Its a lot bigger than I was thinking and I'm struggling to find a place to mount it where it is hidden like my Cobra 75wxst. I have the extension cable so I'm not too worried about burying it somewhere, but under the dash, behind the glove box, etc all seem too tight. I found under the passenger seat, but being right next to the rear seat floor vent and on carpet seems like a bad idea.

Passenger seat location, fits but seems like a very bad place to mount it.

under dash. I can get it under there, but it gets very close to the steering column and again, not a good idea... plus while set it there, I did not see any reasonable way to secure it well (even with making a mounting bracket for it) and away from the steering column. Came to the forums hoping someone had found a good hiding place.

The thing is quite big. I was thinking it was supposed to be 7in deep and 5.5 wide but that didn’t include the mount. In specs it didn’t seem like it would be much bigger than an MXT275 but in person it seems significantly bigger.

It's almost shocking how much bigger it is.

Just received my 575. I'll have the KSG1000G up for sale soon. I'm going to mount mine under the steering column and use a Cat 5 extension. My old 275 is going into my wife's Jeep.
