Just received my 575. I'll have the KSG1000G up for sale soon. I'm going to mount mine under the steering column and use a Cat 5 extension. My old 275 is going into my wife's Jeep.
Where under the steering column. The only place I found it fits is on top of that electronic box (without mount) and it is very close to the steering column which seems too close to be a good idea. I’m not arguing that it can’t go in there I’m just struggling on where and that was my original plan. From the specs online I thought it was going to be just slightly longer than the MXT275, but no it’s over 2x the size.

Hard to get super clear pics, but this is removing that beauty panel under the steering wheel and looking up at a bit of a dutch angle.

Here are some others that show how close to the steering column it would be. Not great photos but this is sticking my phone where I can barely get my hand in. 1st looking forward and 2nd looking at it from the side camera near center console.

There's an Ozark Overland guy on YouTube who shows where to mount it. Pretty slick. I'll find the video tomorrow and will share it.

This video.

Not sure what year and setup he has but on my jeep there is not a big flat sheet metal bit to mount it to. Just a small little metal top measuring 3in deep x 4in wide at the max point . Mine is a newer wrangler (2021) and I’d suspect this is a change for newer vehicles. Hopefully yours has that sheet metal the guy in the video has.

Are you keeping your 275? If not, let me know. I may be interested in buying it off of you.
If you’re still in the market for a MXT275 I’ll be selling mine. I’ve opened the box but did nothing with it. Never even looked for install points. Only pulled the radio out to take the pics found in this thread. PM me if you are still wanting a MXT275

We'll know soon. Mine is an early 2018, so if not, then the Gladiator is different for some reason. I'll post up when I find out.

I mounted mine under the driver seat. I have the ARB Kraken system under my pax seat. Installed a Ethernet receptacle on the pax side of the center console and mounted the mic on the dash…

You can find tons of them on Amazon. They are Cat 5/6 RJ45 connectors. I did the same thing with my MXT275. Super easy to install, the hardest thing was cutting the hole out with my Dremel. I had some extra Cat 5 laying around from an Internet router that I don't have anymore, works great.

Make sure you check the clearance on the backside. You need to locate back towards the seat but if you go too far back you will hit it with the seat forward. If it is mounted too far forward it will not fit flush.
