The rear only changes with the bumper style so it's much less model specific. Just make sure whatever part number you select corresponds with the type of rear bumper you have.
This.
I switched from 255/75/17 to 285/70/17 which, granted, was less than an inch in tire size increase but I have a larger contact patch, and added weight at each corner. Even with those factors, I haven't seen a drastic difference in MPG. I still easily see 8th gear even with 3.45 gears and...
OP, correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like something that happened to me several months ago.
I was on the phone with my wife and sitting in the Jeep with the engine off. After I hung up the call, I noticed that the screen stayed on when I opened the door which isn't normal. I didn't think...
Possibly in the future. I have a Viair 440p so itās relatively easy for me to adjust air pressure on the go. Itās just a balance of cost/benefit at this point.
I had a chance this past weekend to load up and take my wife camping. We got our roof top tent in just in time to install it and take it with us. Add all of the camping gear in the back and a 150+ lb. tent to the roof and you can imagine the rear springs were crying for help.
I decided to try...
In this picture the rear of the vehicle is still on jack stands at full droop. With the wheels on the ground they fill the entire space.
I had this same concern when I opened the box and saw the bags, they seemed to be way too short.
This is where I was planning to install mine as well until I saw where I ended up installing mine. Thatās a very clean install for sure. Very well done.
Added a picture of where and how I installed the heat shield. I took the picture within less than a minute of getting back home today with the exhaust and everything still nice and hot. The bags and the lines felt more or less cool to the touch so I feel confident now nothing is going to melt or...
Hello fellow Arkansan :captain:
Love the ROG trailer. Have y'all ever made it up to the Rendezvous in the Ozarks event? We're hoping to have our trailer before the event this year.
I appreciate everyone sharing their experience with towing and/or wheeling. These were all questions or concerns that I had so Iām getting answers proactively answered.
Weāre looking at purchasing a camping trailer and even though itāll be well under the capability of the Jeep, I remember towing very lightly before and the ride was much worse. I donāt want that experience again. Even throwing all of our camping gear in the back and both kids made the ride...
Todayās project was installing the Air Lift 1000 rear helper bags on my ā21 JLU Willys. Having never installed anything like this before, I have to say this was shockingly much easier than I thought it would be.
With the suspension at full droop, itās incredibly easy to install the air line and...
I realize not everyone has the time or ability to work on their vehicles themselves, but I think my favorite thing about owning a Jeep has been learning to wrench on it without having to rely on a dealership or shop or anyone else for that matter. I haven't had to do any major work yet...
First of all, I highly doubt youāre a āgarbageā mechanic. Garbage mechanics are the ones on the Just Rolled In YouTube channel āpatchingā tires with duct tape, using Flex Seal on brake lines, and installing custom exhaust with welds that look like they were done by a chihuahua. They wouldnāt...
Changed fluid in both diffs. Oil looked surprisingly good - still had a honey color to it and no chunks of metal. Easier than an engine oil change! I absolutely love having a vehicle that's so easy to work on and maintain.
