I just have a hard time understanding how someone could order a jeep a month ago and already be D1 or built but an order sitting around for 14 weeks has absolutely no update at all. Imagine getting a work assignment and after 14 weeks telling a customer or your boss “not only have I not started it I’m not even sure when I’m going to start it.”
No one has been able to explain how they decide which Jeeps to build. I try not to focus on those builds other than to think that with some orders done, mine will be next.

Because first come first serve is not used in building Jeeps. Anything before December 16th was just an order not a placement in line. It didn't matter if you ordered right when the books opened or December 15th. The allocation is set by other unknown reasons and most likely a computer system that decides the best possible production schedule.

Building is in the 5th week I think.
Again as I’ve said several times in this thread. I do not expect 1st come 1st serve although it would be nice. There should definitely be some sort of effort to get the earlier orders out the door or at a bare minimum a tentative schedule. What I expect as a customer paying 45k for a new vehicle is some transparency on how/when it will get scheduled.

how do you find the 22 vins on dealers website?
I searched for new inventory on the dealer website with filters YEAR-> 2022, MAKE -> Jeep, Model-> Wrangler. It lists all the 2022 wranglers available for sale along with the VIN numbers. Then I used the buildsheet & windowsticker servlets to look up the buildsheets/stickers for the VINs. For eg, the below VIN is a 2022 Xtreme recon ordered by the dealer.

https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C4JJXFG6NW125068

It was time consuming to check all the VINs. I guess I m spending way too much time on this. :(

Bummer. I heard you don't get the window sticker till it is shipped or at leased released to ship. Maybe it got held up in QC?
I was told the final quality inspection had passed. Beats me...

What is next, any idea? Is paint usually the first step?
Should be Trim (code G) then inspection then body vendor for addition option installation then shipping. Allegedly framing and trim can all potentially happen in the same day. Body vendor can take a couple days depending on what’s going on. Sounds like you’re well on your way to your new ride congrats.
For reference the process is laid out in post 1 of this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...er-build-tracking-and-delivery-process.54344/

I just went back to my dealer website and looked up all their 2022 VINs. There are 24 wranglers with both window stickers and buildsheets available and dealer shows them in-transit. So I guess it is not completely true that customer sold orders have higher build priority than dealer orders.
Ya there are 1200 wranglers and a bunch of 4xe's in LA on dealer sites some in transit and some being built but some on lots, orders don't seem to get any preference at all

I go to the jeep build it site then go to to search dealer inventory put in options, change search radius to 300 miles and change zip to area you want to search. It takes out your option when you change zips its a pain
