Nope. I asked Mike if mine was shipped with yours and he said it was still in Toledo waiting to be scheduled to ship. I check Jeep Chat every other day and still nothing.

Have you picked yours up yet? I would love to hear how the process goes for you once you do.
No. I’m waiting to hear from him. I got on JC again last night and Rachel(?) said something to the effect of, “it’s been delivered or is pending delivery so it could be at the dealership in the next 1-2 days.”

Also, I have zero interest in going to Atlanta if there’s even a hint of snow in the forecast like it is this weekend, so I’m planning on going early next week (assuming it’s actually delivered).

Same here. I’m eager to get mine but there’s no way I’m driving a brand new vehicle in Atlanta when there’s snow. I could wait an extra week or two to avoid that.

So then at what point do ya go “ya know what we really ought to build this Jeep”. Theres a bunch of you guys that make it sound like asking for some transparency is like asking for a kidney. You can’t possibly continue to prioritize the latest orders while letting the October orders rot. I’m still in D status since 10/12 which tells me nobody has put any sort of serious consideration into where they can fit it in the schedule.
Maybe. But then again unless you know the whys it didn’t get built it may not be the case. There may be a very good reason it’s held up.

Or not.

I do hear you about transparency, I had to fight to get any real info on my build, but I asked this question earlier: let’s say you knew why it wasn’t built, would that change anything? Or would it give you ammunition to be even more upset, attempt to change your order or worse cancel and order somewhere else? What if it was the fact your dealer over ordered, or Jeep decided not to accept it for production? Again, what changes?

I feel for you, I do. And I’d be livid if my dealer said 8 weeks and they didn’t start producing them for 12. I’m just saying there may, or may not, be a valid reason it’s not built.

20 minutes ago, build sheet, now...no build sheet!! Weird

EDITED: It is back
I still don't have a build sheet even though it passed final inspection yesterday or the day before. :(

Depending on the needs of the person or options selected (wants vs needs), one might just choose to find a vehicle on a lot somewhere and purchase now instead of waiting another month, 2 months, etc. I've started scanning dealer inventories to see if there is something available equivalent to my build, or heck maybe I move up to a Rubion instead of my Sahara Altitude, if the Rubi has the options I want. There's a Rubi at a dealer closer to me, same color, most of the same options but price would be $5k more than my order. The longer my order takes, maybe that $5k difference isn't that much of a deterrent.

Re: the region/zone/location theory, it seems plausible on paper, but when I see my dealer has 5 vehicles with VINs well after mine (130xxx vs 117xxx) already built, and several dealers in my area with vehicles in-stock or built that have VINs after mine, it just reverts back to "who knows".

I can't imagine them discounting it at all. Good Luck.

I can take you some higher resolution pictures if you want. Don't mind me, just taking pictures for my forum buddy. Haha
Want to take a pic of my Wife's Tuscadero 2-Door Rubi? ;) She'd be estactic.

Are you looking at crypto or using the vin look up?

I'd only consider it if they accepted our FCA Affliate pricing. I don't know if this dealership would or not, but like I said the longer my order takes I may start looking around.

I've looked at the recent build sheets of vehicles already delivered and every box I checked is on a vehicle already in someones driveway so there is no one option that should be delaying my order. According to Jeep Chat I am both "gathering parts/not yet scheduled" and "sequenced for build" how in the hell could both those statements possibly be true. If somehow they are true where am I at in sequence. If there is a sequence then it should be possible to estimate a rough date that may be subject to change. This is the first factory vehicle I've ordered so my expectations were set by friends who have ordered from other brands and were kept well informed throughout the process.

If its a dealership issue of overordering/too many cancellations/over allocation just say that. Would it lead me to cancel this order? No I've already waited 14 weeks at this point I don't want to be bumped to the back of the line (although there certainly doesn't seem to be one) It would definitely change the likelihood of dealing with that dealership again for future orders. I really don't think this is on the dealership though. Also, the dealership is in NJ about halfway between Philly and NYC its hard to imagine that there isn't enough volume to that region to get some shipments moving.

I'm not looking for some priority treatment where I get pushed to 1st build Monday morning and then loaded on a flatbed with a police escort to nj. All I'm looking for is D1 with an expected date so I can plan finances and wear and tear on my current jeep accordingly to maximize trade in value. I can't imagine how asking for a rough schedule for when a product you've ordered will be built and receiving the answer "we don't know" could ever be seen as acceptable.
