Gupton custom order timeline

Great! Mine is a Hydro blue. Wanted a chief blue at one point but they don't make that anymore. Seeing a few hydros on the streets, I'm loving it.

Yeah, so I researched and researched when the JKU came out, bought it October 2006 and have been loving it ever since. Red was pretty much the ideal color in the JKU, the only color I saw that I liked other than red over the years was Deep Water Blue (it was for a year or so) and is a real true blue. Then came Hydro Blue, it's definitely much better in person and with a black top to offset it. I also went with black wheels.

So......I'll start following these threads, if I get it before Thanksgiving I'll be happy, figuring it will be towards the end of the '21 builds they are carrying through early December.

Hey guys ordering from Daniel today. Anyone from NJ go thru buying from Gupton? I have searched but I’m probably missing a post with answers. Besides for sales tax is there anything else fee wise I should be aware of with New Jersey?

For me it was 30 days. After they said it was in shipping stage. To Gupton.

Do you know at what point in time does Daniel tell you it's ready for pick up on a certain day?

I got the same message today and dealer ETA shipping date 9/28. High hopes, low expectations mentality.
Excited but we’ll see when it arrives!

Do you know at what point in time does Daniel tell you it's ready for pick up on a certain day?

To be courteous and accommodating, I picked a day a full week after it arrived to give them ample time to prep the rig and get my paperwork squared away. I will say when I was 30, that would have been hard for me to wait that week.

Mine should be an extremely easy transaction. I'm paying cash and don't want any extras.

That eliminates all the F&I mumbo-jumbo, credit apps, etc. It should be a 10 min F&I visit.

I honestly think Daniel is feeling a little sorry for me because of the extended delivery time I waited, pretty much without bothering him much at all.

I'm pretty sure both he and Renee are off Wednesdays, or at least they were the day I called. Because of that you might want to avoid requesting a Wednesday pickup. They are a small staff, so there might be a long wait on Wednesdays.

Thanks for the deets. Appreciate it. I would likely do the same - pick the following Saturday after it's arrived. Need to fly from Houston to Nashville and make the trip back. Have a few buddies joining me and we are planning to use this as an excuse for a weekend in Nashville!
