It really is! Yesterday I had a father dog day. We went to the beach, hung out at the state park, walked some trails and then had lunch at a tap house and split some chicken tenders. Owners came out and gave him a couple plates of chicken as well! Yesterday was the first day in my life that a cop pulled up behind me and smiled... I have been riding with the window open so my dog can enjoy the ride!
That’s awesome! More people should be like you!

I'm going with the dualtop. I'll take the hardtop off in the beginning of April and put the soft top on. But it'll be top down as long as it's not raining! Hardtop will go back on around Thanksgiving.
I played around with the premium soft top. I have the alpine system and when the back window was taken off, it wouldn’t stow away properly, in my opinion, due to the width of the rear cargo area compared to the width of the rear window. Opted for just the hardtop until some new tops are released.

I’m looking forward to the German Shepherd fur flowing through the wind out of the JLU!
Imagine the people behind you..with hair on their vehicles :cwl:

With my JY I had the top down as much as I could. I am planning to do the same. I got cold weather group so I can have it down when it is a little colder. I will get a shade top so I can keep the top down when it is a little too hot. I never took the doors off on my YJ (they were half doors anyway) but I am hoping to run doorless a lot too. Honestly if I wasn't going to take the top down I might buy something other than a Wrangler. It's all about the convertible top for me.
Good for you :)

If nice weather and I cannot be on the bike...

Top down, doors off, and windshield down too! The closest I'll get on four wheels to being on a bike. ;)

We have premium soft top only. We keep it down at all times. Jeep is in garage. 3rd car not driven unless nice outside. We have quiet super insulated cuv for dd.

I was hoping there would be an option for top up, with soft windows out. That is my favorite way to roll in the summer. Keeps the sun off, so I can see, but I also get the warm breeze having all the windows out. Side note, I really like the look the of the JL top over the JK, specifically due to the removal of those sail panels on the back corners.
