Ya’ll…look at this freaking tire… I can’t believe I didn’t die. All the feels. This was my first EJS and one of my first few runs. I cannot express how terrified I was.

ETA: the site wasn’t wanting my video to upload, so I had to post the link instead. Sorry!

Is there any chance you forgot something?

What are we looking for here buddy?
Well, bud. We’re looking at a first time EJSer taking a nuts ass line off the waterfall and getting about 4 ft on her rear driver tire. I’ve never done that, and I think it’s wild as shit. Mad props to the spotting crew!

@R4NS0M

Ohh! I thought it was about a flat tire. The jeep on all 3 wheels, yes definitely a nail biter. Great job on that obstacle. My old heart wouldn't handle that kind of excitement very well.

Well done. Witnessed 🫵

love it "watch your mirror" and the reply "mirrors broken" it is funny how that feels scary that is from the driver's seat the first few times.....One trick I learned from my buddy who used to write for all the offroad magazines and raced along side Mickey Thompson and has forgotten more about offroading than I will ever know is when going down stuff like that slip your tranny into neutral so your brakes are not fighting both gravity and the engine.

Was there a reason the spotter said "dont look back, use your mirror"... i never use my mirrors and prefer to look back at the tire. Just curious about the thought process there.

Just spitballing here, but if you use the mirrors, you’re physically planted in the seat like normal. If you look back, you lean forward and twist. Then if you bounce it, you’re more likely to bang your head (concussion/whiplash) or possibly even fall out of the door less Jeep?

I figured it was mainly just a safety thing. I see that as a very low risk, so if that's the reasoning, then I'll continue turning and looking.
