Anyone get the high pressure fuel pump replaced? My dealer says no parts.

Yes unfortunatelyAre the EcoDiesels using the same HPFP as the Cummins trucks...CP4?
I had a 2019 3500 Ram and never had a issue with the CP4. It seemed to be a low failure rate on the Rams - there were failures but considering how many they sold it was a very small number.Yes unfortunately
Unlikely. They're discontinuing the engine altogether. Only available now in the JT and probably only to run out existing stock.I had a 2019 3500 Ram and never had a issue with the CP4. So I am guessing the Ecodiesel for 2023 have a CP3?

That’s true, seems like a relatively low percentage of pumps have had issues, but I can’t say for sure.I had a 2019 3500 Ram and never had a issue with the CP4. It seemed to be a low failure rate on the Rams - there were failures but considering how many they sold it was a very small number.

Nice, I’ve loved mine. I hope they come up with a good solution for the fuel pump.Well, I have a 2023 EcoDiesel...the recall does not list 2023 models so I was thinking maybe they went to CP3 like they did for the Rams in 2022.
FYI the Arizona Dealers seem to have a lot of the EcoDiesels on the lots.
Now that I think about it - I think Ram actually went to a CP4.2 - I never worried about it on my Ram 3500.That’s true, seems like a relatively low percentage of pumps have had issues, but I can’t say for sure.
They stopped putting the diesel in the Wrangler in January 2023. All the diesel Wranglers have the CP4.
I haven’t had any issues with mine ?
They claimed the problem pumps were corrected by December 2021 builds. 2022 and beyond are not supposed to be a problem with CP4. The problem with that is they never said what was changed in Nov-Dec 2021 to correct the failures.
So I think some of us 2022 build year are a bit skeptical it was fixed before ours was assembled. Mine was Jan 2022.

Good looking Jeep! Soft tops look great.I went and looked at mine right now - it has a 12-22 build date. I tried to peep the fuel pump but its not as visible on this EcoDiesel.
I was not originally looking for a diesel - it just happened the saleman mentioned they had a couple on the lot. Test drove it and decided the Diesel was what I wanted.
Seems to be great little motor so far....even with 37s![]()
Mine arrived at the dealership November 2021, but was built sometime in September October 2021. For some reason my VIN is not included on this recall. The lift pump in the tank is easy. The CP4 high pressure pump is on the engine and either crank or cam driven. Getting to it is just a smidge harder.Mine arrived at the dealership November 2021, but was built sometime in September October 2021. For some reason my VIN is not included on this recall. I've replaced a fuel pump before on my old 2001 Toyota Camry. Other than on the Wrangler it looks like you'll have to drop the fuel tank to access it, fuel pumps aren't difficult replacements to do at home. Worst case scenario, you could probably swap out for a CP3 at home (assuming the dealership won't cover it for you).
