I wouldn't do anything to the JL I don't think. But I WOULD buy a YJ that I'd have stripped back and resprayed. Switch to a modern engine, upgraded wheels, tires, suspension but nothing too crazy, little sound system, no roof or doors and just enjoy driving it around all summer long!

Tons, 40s, coilovers, long arms, LT4 swap, and KEEP the electronics. Maybe it's because I've gone the buggy route in the past, but I appreciate being able to roadtrip comfortably at freeway+ speeds, wheel in 110⁰+ heat with the AC blowing cold, pack up camp when it's 20⁰ and warm my hands up on the heated steering wheel and relax my lower back thanks to the seat heaters. All that while running 8+ rated trails, why would I give any of that up? The JLUR already does that with the 39s and stock powertrain no problem, why downgrade?

You've won Powerball! Congratulations you lucky bastard. So, now you can afford to buy any vehicle you want. You can also afford to make your current Jeep into your version of the ultimate JL modifying it in any way you wish.

Soooo... if money is no object, what would you do to your Jeep?
I might decide to purchase a new set of wheels and tires. Maybe.

In sharp contrast to the brief and unsatisfactory episode with my '95 YJ, my JLU has been well-nigh perfect. I'm not going to disturb what has worked so well.

As for my winnings, I'd likely invest the lion's share of the funds, and then carve off a little slice to take the family on a proper, multi-week international vacation.

That's a money pit right there. I mean...what millionaire is going to be seen with that? It's old and someone has messed with it. Looks about half used up. No sir. Not for me. Who wants a second hand one of those? No JK for me.

I’ve got mine about where I want it, minus some armor.

My Jeep that burned down was pretty close to being exactly what I wanted. The only thing I would have added to it would be one ton axles.

My 392 would need:

-Teraflex one ton axles
-Teraflex coil overs suspension
-Artec Aluminum Skids
-Rival 4x4 front bumper
-Westin rear bumper.

I think that would make a pretty nice ride.

I'd go for a Sarge Green final final edition 392 with an Atlas, UD 60s, Evo suspension / Kings, and 40s. Already have a great seat cover

You know, I might be tempted to use a portion of my lottery winnings to grease the relevant palms so that I take possession of the truly final, consumer-deliverable 392.

No games. I'll just want the absolute last V8 Jeep that has been authenticated to exit Toledo's production line.

If I'm going to buy bragging rights, I might as well have a bit of fun with it. 👍

Agree with above, Cummins swapped on 40s. The most expensive part would be moving out of California 😂

Heh, if I won the powerball, I would hope to win it in CA - as one of the few states that don't tax lottery winnings. Plus, I could then move to the Lassen or Tahoe areas (or Alaska) and be where I am happiest.

As for me, I would get portals, upgrade my axles, 42s or 44s, tune my Diesel a bit along with some thing like a Banks PedalMonster. I would finish building an aux oil cooling circuit too. Artec Aluminum Skidplates, Armorlite flooring, and all of the usual protection stuff. Also, I would buy a flatbed truck to put my Jeep on while ferrying it to the various trails.

The bikini is already in a stage I’d be happy to leave it.
I do have a money no object list but that’s fairly modest. 5.7 hemi swap, 60’s and 37’s.
She may well get there eventually anyway.
