I also noticed some noise but it was coming out of a parking structure (think slow speeds). Before I left, I tightened the straps even more and adjusted the position of the zippers (it can be closed at the top OR at the bottom) and that seemed to null the noise on the highway. I didn't check to see if that pin was inserted into a thread hole or if it was just a pilot hole but I feel like if there's a noise I could quiet that down but wrapping black electrical tape around the pin to help absorb any of that energy and create a smoother surface for the pin against the existing threads

I did notice that the zipper pulls clanked around and made some noise early on, but I tucked them into the MOLLE.

One thing I forgot to account for was my Maximus 3 rack, but they seem to fit around it no problem.

I installed some yesterday. The area of window they block is behind the sports bar, you can’t see out of it anyway from the drivers seat.

So I talked with Quadratec today and they said it should ship end of next week. Cancelled the order and XG Cargo has already shipped it. Cost was the same with the first time user discount.

These definitely make some noise at low speeds. Driving on the highway nothing but it seems like the bags attachment to the frame lets the bag sway back and forth inside it. I'll try and tighten the velcro to maybe eliminate some of that noise but definitely something you will hear

How do you see out of the side windows? Love the better view out those windows on the JL.

The view from driver position is mostly the same since the bags are mounted to the rear part of rollbar. You can get an exact view by checking and seeing where the roll bar starts/ window view

received and installed my gama bags last week. spent two days offroad and the zipper pulls were clanking on the roll bar. moved the zippers and no more noise. don't expect to put anything heavy in them and they have limited space. they are expensive, but overall I'm happy i have them.

Do you get a noise when the bags are moving laterally? It seems like running some tight cord from the front mount to the back on both sides could help them not sway as much. I feel like a lot of the noise is low speed "clanking"

I do not get lateral clanking from the bag or bar. The only noise “was” from the zipper tags hitting the roll bar, just repositioned the zippers. I do think the metal bar that the bags connect to could have a better design. The bar only has one lower tab, I believe it needs two tabs. With the constant lateral movement the one tab could weeken. I hate the upper pin, but that’s all we have. I noticed some guys received swag with their order, sadly I did not.
I was a little shocked when I saw the packaging, these bags are expensive and I just tossed ten dollars worth of retail box. These are not ski boots save us some money and just send the items..

I cancelled my order on Friday. Ordered it direct from XG Cargo for the same price and it has already shipped.
