I don't think I've ever seen a battery go much higher than 14.5v when running. What voltage would you consider acceptable when the jeep is running?
The thing to realize is when the engine is running the dash shows smart alternator "charging" Voltage. So the higher the number, the more charging the battery needs. I've never seen anything above 14.6 on my JLU.

When my battery has a healthy charge, it seems to display in the 13s.

Again, I'm sure others have completely different experiences. This is from my 7 years of ownership.

12.7 when the system is finally satisfied with battery state of charge.

2025 Willys DD here and almost never see that low of a number.
It's rare to see the smart alternator charging voltage that low. I've only seen 12.7v with a brand new fully charged AGM battery.

Again, I'm normally charging in the 13s when my engine is running with gas pedal engaged. If I'm braking or coasting it may climb in the 14s on occasion.

you usually won't because the SOC is almost never satisfactory. i see it once in a blue moon but it does happen. even if you reset/replace the IBS it defaults to 80% SOC.
