Since my understanding of the etorque system is minimal, I’ll ask a question with an answer that may seem obvious to you and others.I would bet that the vast majority of etorque owners don’t have a clue what it is or that they even have it. Forum posters are an entirely different breed.
Also, they’re all still new. The problems will be when the systems are 10+ years old and have zero parts support.
A Hemi swap removes the etorque complexity entirely...Since my understanding of the etorque system is minimal, I’ll ask a question with an answer that may seem obvious to you and others.
Can’t the belt start generator send its voltage to any 48 volt battery, even a much smaller one, prior to being converted back to 12 volts?
I imagine the system is more complex than that based on coolant lines etc. but would there not be a way to meet what ever parameters the brains needed without all the complexity? Even if some aspects of the system, like the small and very brief torque increase at take off, and whatever other effects it has were eliminated?

Spoiler alert “Not Legal For Use On Public Roadways In California” as of 21 anyway. The best CARB approved I could find was a 5.7 truck engine only JK swap. I would be driving a 392 2dr if it was possible.Thanks
