Want to tint my front windows but probably not as dark as the back. I don’t want to lose much vision at night.

Any recommendations? TIA

35% with a good UV blocking ceramic film is the way to go if you dont want it to be too dark but still work and is within legal limits pretty much everywhere. I also recommend a 55% on the windshield in the same stuff does wonders.

30 to 35 percent for the front. I believe 30 is the legal limit in my state, and that's what I do. Most states are pretty good at setting the legal limit at a reasonable level, so just tell your tint shop you want the legal minimum.

My prior Jeep had darker tint in the front and it was dangerous at night -- hard to see; I'd have to roll the windows down sometimes before making turns. Also impairs eye contact with other drivers and pedestrians.

I roll with 20% on the fronts to match the sides and rear and 50% on the windshield. Helps in the desert summer for sure.

although it may sound dark, I like it and I haven’t had any issues. Legal or with seeing out. I think 35% is the limit in my state

I just did a 20% tint/high UV protection on the front side windows to match factory rear side and back tint. It looks good and I like it a lot. I had a 30% tint/high UV protection put on the windshield and I’m probably going to have it removed this fall. I like the UV/heat protection on the windshield but to me it seems slightly blurry to look thru. They had a clear high UV protection I wish I would have put on the windshield and may try that after the tint is removed. It has cut interior heat down substantially.
