Are winch mount brackets have bolt mounts for any winch makes/brands ?

buddy is selling a Rugged Ridge bracket off his JL used with his steel Mopar bumper and want to know will it work with a badland or open road brand winch ? He used it with the smitybilt winch and said it will work with a warm winch. I’ve never installed or ever used a winch Would like your inputs

Generally, the winch mount holes line up with brackets and or the predrilled holes that are on aftermarket bumpers. As long as it's not an ATV winch it should line up.

The openroad has the same pattern as Warn and Badland. I have 2 of them.

I used this one that specifically states it doesn't fit my Jeep...lol...

It fits great. I purchased the first one from Amazon and the second one from Quadratec.

The Openroads have been great besides their control box mounting. I am going to design a new mount and they want the details after I do because they agree that it isn't a good mount.

My Jeep shop fabricated a new control box bracket for the Openroad, on the spot, this morning and it turned out great.
