I just priced (jeep build site) a Willy's jeep and it came out $3,400 lower (using the exact same options) than when I did it about 2 weeks ago. Anyone know what this was about?

Apparently there's a $2,000 incentive for gas sport and Willys four doors right now. I just did a build and price on a two-door just the way I ordered mine and it was more expensive than when I ordered but the same MSRP as when it came in.

Failing some ncentive on a model that’s not selling well, I don’t think prices on any vehicles are going down this year (possible exception : all the shiney new battery powered cars that nobody wants)?

I got a very nice deal from a recommended dealer (Mark Dodge). I got a very simple configuration on a Willy's and was pleasantly surprised. I had a price in my mind, and they were well under that. 2-3 short emails, one quick phone call and done. Now waiting.

As just this past week I put in an order for a 2door, I hope not. I would have seriously considered.

Honestly, I don't see it. I'm getting a 2door manual. I really think (just reading the tea leaves) that manual will be 100% gone in a year or two. Maybe when they finally drop the V6. I also think they will drop 2door in all but one or two trims.

Depending on where you read, manual are under 10% of sales (some say closer to 5%) and 2door makes up 25%-30%. The dealer I ordered from even warned me my configuration would take very long as so slow in sales.

Some have speculated that they might keep the 2door if they can reconfigure it on the 4door body. Like the old 2door Unlimited. That might be a nice compromise depending on use case of the individual (more storage, carry capacity. But larger in tight spaces, trailing).

I just started the quoting process yesterday for a 2 door Rubi manual, the salesman told me 2 door manuals are on restriction currently, he mentioned 16 weeks? Idk if he is correct, and it won’t stop me from ordering what I want anyhow. I test drove a manual with the 4.88 gear option and fell in love!! It’s way more fun than 4.10s….

I have a friend who ordered a 2 door Sport S manual a few weeks ago. The tracker says it's scheduled to be built on Tuesday. It's possible it went on restriction since she ordered.

Well, that’s encouraging!

Mine guy didnā€˜t say ā€œrestrictedā€ but he said they wait and collect a bunch of orders for the manual 2door then run them as a group. And 2door manuals sell the least. He warned me it could be 3-4 months. I almost backed out thinking I’d order an 2025. But he gave me a good deal. I put so few miles on them, the year isn’t as important. And have real concerns of manual being dropped soon.

Agreed, I’m fine waiting.

I think the two door and manual will both stick around so long as the Bronco keeps manuals and two doors.

A few years ago, I would have agreed that any day now, the manual or two door could get dropped, but now I think we're safe until at least the next refresh (J70?) or until the Bronco ditches those options. Unfortunately, I think we'll see the end of the pentastar and naturally aspirated engine options for the Wrangler at that point as well.

This. This is my guess. Since you can now only get manual in the pentastar, I don't see them reworking manual in another engine once that is dropped. And they are pushing hard to get us over to the turbo 4 (I noticed on the Willys automatic in the pentastar almost double the cost getting the auto on the turbo 4).

I'd seriously (very seriously) consider the 4xe hybrid if available in a 2door. I'd give up the 3 pedals for the extra torque. But the 2 extra doors kills it for me.

If they made a hybrid two door with similar range to the current 4xe, I would have seriously considered it as well. Now that I hardly ever drive, and my Jeep lives in a different state, I'm glad I don't have it. Without a commute, the benefit for me is greatly reduced, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about the massive battery wearing out at some point down the road. Same reason I shied away from eTorque when I placed my order.

Turbos come with their own set of concerns and problems, but if it blows up, I can always swap for a hemi! ?

I said the same…until I’m 7 months in and it’s 70 degrees all week. Ordered in October. Been in production for nearly 30 days. People will start getting their ā€˜25’s before I get my ā€˜24 at this rate. 2 door manual and half doors. I’m sure it’s the half doors that are bending me over.
