I have a 2024 2-door Wrangler JL with manual cloth seats. I was looking at seat covers and liked the Diver Downs. However on the web site they only fit up to the 23 model. Now I see that many other seat covers aren’t listed as fitting the 24. What changed? Does anyone know if the existing Diver Down seat covers will fit any models of the 2024 year, even if not officially? I like the black with blue center. Are there any other seat covers that anyone recommends near the same price point?
Thanks for the help.

I have yet to find a truly waterproof seat cover for the wrangler. They all have that neoprene nonsense. Which is great for a little bit of water, but if your Jeep gets soaked or you're sitting in it with soaking wet clothes, within about 10 minutes it'll go right through it into your seat. And then it's going to take even longer to dry out.

Honestly your best bet is probably to go get your seats covered in leather or pleather. At least then it would be actually waterproof. Still have to wipe it off, but it would be waterproof!

I didn't realize there were other options?

70 years of jeeps with manual seats, no automatic seats anywhere in sight. You're telling me they have automatic seats now in Wranglers!?!?

Instead of power seats.

If you're looking on amazon, ask the seller cause way too many sellers don't update the info about the products they're selling. Read the reviews on the DD covers also. Skip the "vine reviews", they're biased for the most part.

Like I said, be careful with neoprene. If you get in there with a mostly dry bathing suit on, zero issues, but if you get in there after you just got drenched in the rain, water dripping off your pants and everything, it's going to soak right through that into the seat fabric, and because you have the neoprene seat cover it's going to take the cloth seat underneath three times as long to dry. If the cloth seat underneath is still wet, even though the neoprene cover has dried out, water will still come up and get your pants wet after you sit down.

I run my Jeep completely open most days, if it rains, my seats are getting wet. I have a lot of experience dealing with neoprene, and how it handles in extreme situations.

Neoprene is great, but it's way too porous to be considered waterproof.

I have some neoprene seat covers you can have for free, if you want to pay for shipping, go pour bucket of water on them tell me how waterproof they are. 😂

If it's hot where you live, it doesn't really matter. Outside of leather seats, my cloth seats can get completely saturated with water, and after 30 minutes in direct Texas sunlight, completely dry.

100%, if I didn't run my Jeep open 24/7, I would be using my neoprene seat covers all the time. They are comfy as heck!!

My biggest issue is when it rains all day, the only way that I found to stay dry driving home from work, is to put on waterproof pants and coat.

Thanks Helly Hansen!

Eventually.

I was telling the wife earlier about this amazing deal on Facebook marketplace.

Jeep Wrangler JL Diver Down & Seat Cover Question 1000001358

If I had $1,200 right now, I would be driving out there right now picking this bad boy up. What an amazing deal!!

It’s a new jeep currently running with a hard top and doors. I’m in Florida so the doors are coming off for the winter but I’m not giving up summer A/C. The primary purpose for the seats is protection. I have big kids and big dogs.
I really like the look of the DD covers with the colored insert. My backup choice are the same Rough Country mentioned above but they are all black. Functionally they seem equivalent I was just hoping to add some color.

Can't speak to how waterproof, but I have Carhartt covers in light gray. They're the same weight/ strength and triple stitching as their pants. I have a thick Purple cushion too.

I’ve got them on my 20-red& black. The red faded to pink pretty quick-even top on. They’re ok but I’ll not buy again.
