Since we're this close to the model year cutoff, I wouldn't stress about missing out on a 2026. Down the road, you'll absorb an extra year of depreciation on a '26 compared to waiting just a bit longer for a 2027.

If they closed order banks for 26 model years, I wonder how many Willy’s 392 they actually made?…. I saw on DRC that they are keeping around the MOAB 392 for MY27 but nothing about Willy’s.

How long did you spend on the DRC video? 2 minutes searching here turned up this, which contained 2027 Willys 392.

Just came across one of the videos he was talking about the 2027 release for the wrangler and he mentioned that the 392 will still be available but looked like it’ll be all MOAB options/availability but if Willy’s is going to still be an option as well that’ll be great for the people still wanting a slightly cheaper 392 option.

Yeah, hopefully the option sticks around for all 2027.

...That's why I am now waiting for the '27 order banks to open up so that I can place my order for the Moab that I originally wanted.
I hear ya and am in the same place!

The willys 392 didn’t have many options to decide on. Got the floor mats and the duel top group. No delays so far.
What about color(?) Sometimes they batch certain options into groups. Especially low volume like any 392.

Looks like black or grey stitching, just seen one hit dealer with pictures outta Illinois I believe…
Looks like both. Seeing some Willys 392 dealer pics online now. The seats look like black stitching, and the dash & Steering/tranny/tcase/ebrake have white. The doors have the cheaper armrests as well that don’t usually come with factory leather. Interesting cost saving pieces from the Moab. No Rear cupholders either.

Thanks for the pics!
No rear cupholders is a 392 thing. Something to do with the exhaust, maybe?
Yes, interesting cost cutting decisions. I thought maybe the Moab is based on a Rubicon X, and the Willys a non-X?
But the Willys gets X items like the nappa leather seats, steel bumpers, and Alpine.
I guess stitched door pulls and passenger grab bar are the big cost saving areas? 🤔
