Willys 392 Order date

I placed an order 6/1 and was notified 6/3 that it had been cancelled. Today the dealer reached out and said the order status had changed and a VIN assigned. I asked about MY and he said as far as he could tell it was scheduled to be a 2026.

Is there any way to tell what MY it'll be? Seems odd that this late after cancellations started that it would suddenly remain a 2026.

They said Jeep had closed 392 order banks for 2026.

I ordered 6/4. And order went right through.. tracker shows built as of Saturday..

Its the combinaiton of options. Folks with quick builds should list what they ordered.

Exactly, at the time I ordered the biggest holdup was out of stock All Weather Mats. It just takes one thing like this. Jeep doesn’t, but IMO should contact buyers and allow them to change options in such cases.

The willys 392 didn’t have many options to decide on. Got the floor mats and the duel top group. No delays so far.

You guys are having better luck than me. I ordered a Moab 392 on 5-11-26 and all was going well until I got a call on 5-20-26 saying that my order was canceled. I asked them if they could switch that order to a Willys 392 and after checking they said they couldn't get that one either and that I would probably have to wait for the 27s to come out. That's where I am now and it's a long wait.

Is it possible that smaller dealers don’t have the allocation needed for special editions?

Define “canceled”, completely and you have to reorder a 27 or did it just roll over to a 27 ? ….. FWIW, wait time in 21 was typically 4 months. XR announced late July early August too late to add to mine in build. Fear of what possible changes I didn’t know and a price increase since ordering so I didn’t reorder. …. Thankfully, 22’s got unwanted “Additional California Emissions Equipment” (~ an $8-900 addition) with the bonus of Exit Honks.
