Ok, Aloha, your crystal ball skills are being put to the test!
If it actually happens, you better use those skills while they're hot and buy a powerball ticket! 😉

I put on my lucky socks but they’ve never really been luck. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed

Well I am out of optimism now. Jeep must have royally messed up if they don’t allow orders by end of month.
It's the leaving us hanging that really gets me.
Stuff happens, but throw us a bone!
You missed your date by almost 3 weeks now.
I thought someone at EJS would have asked the Jeep PR guys what was going on.

As of this morning there are 1100 unsold Moab 392's left for sale in the US. If you look at the daily inventory, you will see that they are selling about 30 per week. If their goal is to hold off releasing the Willys 392 until those numbers are substantially reduced, this could take a while. I too am just hoping for a hint at when the release will happen.

Unfortunately high fuel prices are killing demand for the 392 drivetrain in all Stellantis vehicles.

The Wrangler 392 requires 91 octane due to the high compression and has a 21.5 gallon fuel tank. At roughly $4.75 a gallon potential buyers are looking at an expensive fill up that won’t last long due to the poor fuel mileage.

Who knows, someone on here claimed it was a misconfiguration on the part list.

we can speculate all day but until words come out from Jeep/Stellantis I will taken them with a grain of salt.

That's a very good point.
We all really shouldn't be hanging around in this thread, but here we are.

I disagree, people that buy the 392s aren't mpg conscious. IMO the bigger problem is the loss in value for people that bought Wranglers and pretty much anything else in the past 5 years. Until the end of 2024 they were priced high, with fewer incentives and now the MSRP's have been reduced, so trade values are super low. A lot of dealers are just garbage now as well. It seems like Stellantis isn't really supporting dealers well anymore either. My local dealer had Ford and CDJR next to each other. They punted CDJR two months ago and the CDJR building is now their used cars sales.

Fun ones!
Meanwhile new 2025 392 prices are starting to drop quickly. JOOSE is really calling my name. Would love to hold our for the Willys, but there will be another 12/12 drop at this point before we see any information.
