Not sure if those statistics are accurate, but if they are it represents a huge shift in sales.As of this morning there are 1100 unsold Moab 392's left for sale in the US. If you look at the daily inventory, you will see that they are selling about 30 per week. If their goal is to hold off releasing the Willys 392 until those numbers are substantially reduced, this could take a while. I too am just hoping for a hint at when the release will happen.
For the life of the Wrangler 392 program sales have varied between 400 - 500 units a month. For it to drop to 130 units a month, that is a major drop. Especially given the recent price drop.
Also, for those that think 392 owners are not MPG conscious, well only slightly. I pick the vehicle I drive to work each day based on 1) which do I want to stack miles on, 2) which has fuel in the tank, 3) what is the price of fuel, 4) screw it I just wanna have fun (take the 392).
