As of this morning there are 1100 unsold Moab 392's left for sale in the US. If you look at the daily inventory, you will see that they are selling about 30 per week. If their goal is to hold off releasing the Willys 392 until those numbers are substantially reduced, this could take a while. I too am just hoping for a hint at when the release will happen.
Not sure if those statistics are accurate, but if they are it represents a huge shift in sales.

For the life of the Wrangler 392 program sales have varied between 400 - 500 units a month. For it to drop to 130 units a month, that is a major drop. Especially given the recent price drop.

Also, for those that think 392 owners are not MPG conscious, well only slightly. I pick the vehicle I drive to work each day based on 1) which do I want to stack miles on, 2) which has fuel in the tank, 3) what is the price of fuel, 4) screw it I just wanna have fun (take the 392).

Good job, I have wondered what total production is but could only find 21- 7305 and 22- 5583. Nothing since, do you happen to know ?
MPG- well, 392, vs 392 GC, vs V10 Ram- all require prem. the difference is a rounding error with the GC getting a slight edge- Hwy only. The PU slightly less.

Exact numbers are not known since FCA / Stellantis stopped giving access to the back end. I think the FE and FFE years were the worst with estimates between 3,000 and 4,000.

Last I saw, Mark Dodge was selling about 10 per month. There are roughly 2,400 Jeep dealers in the US. I doubt they all sell at least 3, some might sell none. I’ll bet most sell at least 1.

I have seen exactly one floored at the local. The only other one in the wild around here in their employee parking area. The service writer says mine is the only one that comes in for service. When bought Apr of 21 at a larger dealership in the next town it was the second one they sold.

If you go to the configurator on the jeep website, there is a way to check inventory. Just check the Moab 392 and leave all parameters blank but mark it for "nationwide". That will give you the total number of Moab 392's that are available nationwide. At this moment there are 1094. This number can change throughout the day as sales are reported. I have been following these numbers just to see how sales are progressing. That's how I came up with my information.

Local Jeep dealer has a Moab 392 with about a $4k discount. Whoopie! When I bought my former JLUWX, the sales person at nearby Gupton told me the discount percent is different between low and higher trims/packages. Ok if true, anything with 392 ought to have the highest discount possible.

Pre-Covid, 15-20% from MSRP on anything was a pretty good deal. That puts a Moab 392 under $70k for a pretty good deal today. This after manufactures became post-covid greedy.

This count method assumes no new vehicles are being delivered as the old ones are sold. In reality there are new units being shipped as the on lot units are sold.

I believe that tool also reports ‘sold’ orders in shipping.

In the Houston market, most Jeep dealers have 2-4 Moabs on their lots. I know of at least a dozen dealers around the area, there might be more. Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio are similar. Even some of the rural markets have a Moab on floor plan.

That, I don't know. If that's the case, it's even worse.

You wouldn’t like me if you knew
I ordered a 2026 Ruby X cause of this fiasco. Needed a 4 door for the family. Trading in the 2022 JLR 6 speed.

still waiting on the X to move out of order confirmed into at least “scheduled”…that’s another story.

I would have gladly given Jeep another $10,000 for a Willy’s 392 but they can’t get their shit together.

whatever, I’ll get a 392 when the next gen comes out
