I dig'em, this is my fourth one in six years?

I've had about the same ratio of Jeeps per years as you have, but it spans 50 years for me. So, I've owned a few of them. They are what they are, a vehicle of compromises. It is built to work better off road than other production motor vehicles, and can still be driven on road.I dig'em, this is my fourth one in six years?

On top of that, they have been larded up with passenger car amenities that have nothing to do with their original mission of off road capability. When one spends $50k plus on a very rudimentary vehicle and is immediately met with many frustrating problems, one tends to not enjoy that.
It should be obvious why there is so much complaining - the JL is so close to greatness, the only thing holding it back is the company that made it. That's frustrating.
Gotta keep all of those stupid dashboard ducks comfortable somehow. On top of that, they have been larded up with passenger car amenities that have nothing to do with their original mission of off road capability.
This makes them overly complicated and more prone to problems.
Should have spent less than that then. When one spends $50k plus on a very rudimentary vehicle and is immediately met with many frustrating problems, one tends to not enjoy that.

Well we haven’t had one of these posts in 4 or 5 days
