I can go 21 miles on $1.12 of electricity. I can go 21 miles on 1 gal of gas. I'm not Einstein, but I can figure out that gas has to be less than $1.12/gal to beat the electric cost. What am I missing here? Talk to me like I'm a ginger.Jeep is rated at 68 kWh per 100 miles
Fusion Energi is rated at 35kWh per 100 miles.
Break even on a Fusion Energi is about $2.00 a gallon.
Break even on a Jeep is about $4.00 a gallon
any gas price less than above, the EV car loses $ per mile vs gas
pretty easy to calculate the difference in costs.
also, pretty easy to calculate your cost per mile.
just remember to charge your Jeep with 68 kWh you will use anywhere from 75-80kWH Of energy, maybe more.
for example in summer it takes me about 6-7kWH to get 5 in my battery. Winter 7-8 kWH to get 5.
Please don't take this as being negative. It’s just the facts and science.
I would jump on the 4xE if it was more efficient. It just isn’t there yet.
