personally - I did a factory order to keep my costs down. Ya, I also get all the features I want/value - but it's the "shortest" path to getting an at-invoice or below-invoice price. you do wind up having to wait for it to show up (anywhere from 6-10 weeks) but if the only JLURs around are $48k and up, or don't have the features you want - its a good choice.
of course if you walk on a lot and there's one with exactly what you want, in the color you want, and you can get it negotiated to an under-invoice price - it'd be a much tougher decision.
but if I'm spending north of $40k, I want what I want, in the color I want, with the equipment I want - and without the equipment I don't. no need to settle when spending that much; it's representative of a lot of man-hours banging on a keyboard to earn it.
