Ha ha, yeah but that would be a pretty funny commercial. So does the insurance cover the clean-up of the vomit too? :CWL:

Draft, with that windshield? No thank you. This is one of the major reasons people keep needing new windshields. Drafting at 70 means almost any small rock is gonna crack vertical glass like an eggshell.

I'm getting 19-20 in my JLUR (stock wheels/tires/ride height) at 75-80mph. That's good enough for me. The benefit of marginally better fuel economy doesn't offset the hassle of new glass.
^^^^^ what he said! :like:

Yep I had a friend that thought it was cool and fun to draft semis so she could get better gas mileage. Until one day, the semi in front of her nailed a dog. Guess where the dog went? In many yucky bloody pieces all over her car. She said she also wrecked because she :puke:! Now, she gives any vehicle in front of her lots of space:giggle: NOW that would make a great Farmers Insurance commercial:like:

I appreciate the sentiment, but those morons fail to survive at a fairly satisfactory Darwinian rate, I’m thinking.

And they seldom kill anyone else.

Insufficient kinetic energy, I reckon.

If you’re following ANY vehicle close enough to benefit from drafting, 1) stop it, 2) you’re probably not getting the benefit you imagine you are, 3) replacing just one windshield more than negates any fuel savings, 4) Stop it! It’s tailgating too close and you’re endangering yourself and others, and 5) STOP IT!!!

Most of the ones I see kick a car next to them for failing to see a motorcycle splitting stopped traffic at about 40 MPH...

They’d better not kick mine.
Just better damn not.
It won’t go well, for us both, I reckon. Promise.
