where to run lightbar wires?

Hi all, I managed to run the wires for the lightbar switch into the car from the engine bay area via the hole on the driver side.

I know how to wire it all up, however where is my wiring supposed to run inside the engine bay area towards the battery? Not to be looking ugly or too close to engine... Do I need to heat sheild the wires?

Where should the relay sit? It seems to have a screw mounting point on it...

Most run it along the back where you somewhat have it now.

You don't have to, but it doesn't hurt if you have some.

Where should the relay sit?

Wherever you find a spot for it.

This is how I ran mine. The relay you will see along the back of the engine compartment.

I’ve tried to run all my wires next to the plastic wiring tray. I set up my relays and solenoid near my bus bar that I’ve hooked up to make swapping aux switch positions easier as I go.
