Where Should I Install My Kill Switch?

i would contact maestro5531 or do a search. he sells an amazing product that piggybacks the starter wiring harness. i bought his $30 harness and a switch and could probably install in about 10 min. very easy. i hid my switch out of sight but can be felt. jeep can start (including remote start), but can’t put into gear until you flip the switch. cheap, easy and effective. highly recommend!

so, we have these cool new factory aux switches, whats the chance using say switch 4, for a relay to the fuel pump wire off the fuse box? And you can program the switch to remember how it was at shutdown, or always turn off at shutdown. Hmmmm.

You can install a $2 switch off the push start and the only way they will get it is with a flatbed. No requirement to do it off of fuel pump.

But cant they bypass the switch using some hack? Like remote start if they hacked the computer? A fuel pump kill is uncheckable, unless found.

I dont think some POS thief is going to spend much time once they realise it wont start after gaining access.

I wont get into details but unless they find the switch, even remote start only partially works. You cant complete the procedure if the switch is off.

Assuming you just leave switched on most of the time unless leaving in a shady area?

Not really, where I live I am 2 hours from the Montreal port. The cops are either corrupt or completely useless there. We have literally seen African for sale ads with Ontario plated JLs. They can steal the jeep in less than 5 minutes. Our insurance is now requiring we get TAG installed for tracking to have some savings, even though they rarely recover as theyre on a boat very quickly.

Ive been installing the switches for free for my local club. We have seen videos of it working as the losers will bolt as soon as they cant start it the way they think theyre going to start it. Unfortunately, they usually trash something breaking in and rip glove box off hooking into Star rail but at least theyre not getting stolen.

I'm currently working on a method to waterboard the pieces of shit until I can get there with a blow torch and tin snips.
