National Backorder, corrected. Source Parts Mgr. at Mesa, AZ Jeep dealer. He looked it up on his parts screen last Friday.

Correct, just back ordered which is the same thing my parts guy said today. Really fortunate I got one, but another forum member called quadratec and all dealers within striking distance, and none available. These things must have sold like hot cakes out the door, and Mopar wasn't prepared. Hope there are more available soon for the masses.

My parts guy said he was waiting on a few kits. He said when he ordered them there were hundreds in the system and that morning there were NONE! Either they sold like hot cakes or they were pulled from the system?

Wow your getting those really fast.
I looked at 3 places (Costco, Discount Tire, and Belle Tire) - I ended up pulling the trigger with Belle, as they were the only ones that could get them fast at a reasonable price. Totally agree on C versus E load range on the ride quality, it's really about matching the tire to the weight of the vehicle and it's carrying capability. The E is simply for a heavier vehicle and as such will not have the same compliance in the ride.
Did the lift increase the rake? It appears from the the rake is increased over other two inch Mopar lifts I have view or maybe it is the drive way.

Interesting note: My tech just notified me that he didn't install the perches that came with the 2" Mopar lift because ironically, they are the same identical part# as the ones that came stock with my Rubicon. Further, the stock ones are black, whereas the ones that come with the lift are gray. He even pulled the black stock perches off to not only confirm part #'s match, but compared it to the Mopar lift gray ones and sure enough, they are 100% identical. So, for those that are getting the lift installed in the future, if you have a Rubicon, you may prefer to have the installer leave the factory black perches as they are a little more aesthetically pleasing than the gray ones :like:

MyMoparParts had 9 kits in stock yesterday when I ordered mine. Got the shipping confirmation about an hour later.

The color difference could actually mean something. How can he compare plastic density or hardness just by looking.
I say bad call to not use the parts that were provided in the kit.

Id like to address something else, as a mechanic or technician for over 30 years specialized in one type of equipment, I would never call myself a "master" tech. My eyes roll Every time somebody uses that term.

Does anybody honestly think you can have a mastery of every diagnosis issue that is brought to you?

Hell, just today I had my ass kicked on a electrical issue I've never seen before. Saying master tech is like saying master doctor or master computer nerd. It's a field that is practiced your entire life as technologies evolve and systems change.
Show me a "master" tech and I'll show you a real live big foot.

Both black and gray perches have the SAME identical part #. So, I don’t know how there could be any difference between the two other than color. If there were, the part #’s would be different. I prefer the black as it is blends in. Respectfully, I think that was a good call by my tech of over 25 years, who has installed tons of lift kits over that span. I understand your logic, but disagree. There are many people that become masters of their respective trade. But we can agree to disagree :)

Boy way to burst a guy’s bubble! Becoming a Master Technician signifies a higher level of experience and continuing education, and probably a higher compensation level than someone else. I don’t think it’s bragging or meant to mean you are a “know it all”!

Look I'm not trying to burst anybody's bubble. I just keep seeing this over and over in a lot of the Forum threads about my guy is a Master Tech he must be right or my guy is a Master Tech so he knows more than your guy.
In my business I have guys with 50 years experience about ready to retire.
They have their struggles just like the rest of us. Sometimes we all got to get together put our heads together and come up with the most logical solution. It's not always black and white.
I work with some of the best guys in the country, and not a single one of us claim to be a master of anything.

Not sure if anyone ever found a fix, I advised my dealer on the situation, which has one that they installed on their lot that has driver side bow. The call the Mopar techs and have determined that the gray spring seats are not to be used, you use the original ones, he said it states it on the last page of the instructions, I have not looked at it myself. They are going to fix the one they have on their lot to see if it corrects, then I will install my lift that is on hold now.
