Source? The kit is on a National Recall/ National Backorder!
National Backorder, corrected. Source Parts Mgr. at Mesa, AZ Jeep dealer. He looked it up on his parts screen last Friday.Source?
Correct, just back ordered which is the same thing my parts guy said today. Really fortunate I got one, but another forum member called quadratec and all dealers within striking distance, and none available. These things must have sold like hot cakes out the door, and Mopar wasn't prepared. Hope there are more available soon for the masses.National Backorder, corrected. Ok, you threw me when you said recall.National Backorder, corrected. Source Parts Mgr. at Mesa, AZ Jeep dealer. He looked it up on his parts screen last Friday.
My parts guy said he was waiting on a few kits. He said when he ordered them there were hundreds in the system and that morning there were NONE! Either they sold like hot cakes or they were pulled from the system?Ok, you threw me when you said recall.
Did the lift increase the rake? It appears from the the rake is increased over other two inch Mopar lifts I have view or maybe it is the drive way.Wow your getting those really fast.
I looked at 3 places (Costco, Discount Tire, and Belle Tire) - I ended up pulling the trigger with Belle, as they were the only ones that could get them fast at a reasonable price. Totally agree on C versus E load range on the ride quality, it's really about matching the tire to the weight of the vehicle and it's carrying capability. The E is simply for a heavier vehicle and as such will not have the same compliance in the ride.
Here is the final version with the 35" KO2 installed (315/70/17).Did the lift increase the rake? It appears from the the rake is increased over other two inch Mopar lifts I have view or maybe it is the drive way.

My rake is not increased at allDid the lift increase the rake? It appears from the the rake is increased over other two inch Mopar lifts I have view or maybe it is the drive way.
The color difference could actually mean something. How can he compare plastic density or hardness just by looking.Interesting note: My tech just notified me that he didn't install the perches that came with the 2" Mopar lift because ironically, they are the same identical part# as the ones that came stock with my Rubicon. Further, the stock ones are black, whereas the ones that come with the lift are gray. He even pulled the black stock perches off to not only confirm part #'s match, but compared it to the Mopar lift gray ones and sure enough, they are 100% identical. So, for those that are getting the lift installed in the future, if you have a Rubicon, you may prefer to have the installer leave the factory black perches as they are a little more aesthetically pleasing than the gray ones![]()
Boy way to burst a guy’s bubble! Becoming a Master Technician signifies a higher level of experience and continuing education, and probably a higher compensation level than someone else. I don’t think it’s bragging or meant to mean you are a “know it all”!Id like to address something else, as a mechanic or technician for over 30 years specialized in one type of equipment, I would never call myself a "master" tech. My eyes roll Every time somebody uses that term.
Does anybody honestly think you can have a mastery of every diagnosis issue that is brought to you?
Show me a "master" tech and I'll show you a real live big foot.
Look I'm not trying to burst anybody's bubble. I just keep seeing this over and over in a lot of the Forum threads about my guy is a Master Tech he must be right or my guy is a Master Tech so he knows more than your guy.I’m
