Hey guys.. a separate set of wheels and tires for winter are not currently in the budget right now.. so im wondering if anyone else runs thier aftermarket wheels all year long and the best way to go about protecting them in the winter. I live in Michigan.. so I don't have to tell you there will be salt.. I know I'm going to wax them.. maybe use some wheel sealer.. and keep them clean as much as possible.. we all know getting the inside of the wheel clean can be a pain in the butt without removing them.. even thought about ceramic coating.. I have fuel assault so there are very tiny places that are hard to get to.. but just wondered if anyone else runs thier setup year round and how they go about protecting them. Thanks guys.. you guys are awesome.

I ran my Fuel Blocks all winter here in Ottawa Canada just up the road from you where salt is a winter food group. Zero issues with them. Didn't do anything to protect them.

In saying that, I may not be as anal as the next guy. They have rock rash from wheeling but no corrosion issues from the salt.

I hear you.

I relocated from California to Washington State. I love the relative tranquility, the green lushness, the distinct seasons, and the first several snow falls of the year. But winter gets dark, dreary and long; especially after the holidays.

I completely agree.. its just gray.. gloomy.. and can't get the jeep naked for months.. I love the green.. water.. the fishing.. all that summer stuff here in Michigan.. and like you said the first snow.. but after the holdiays.... mother nature can take it back.. lol

I kept my stockers for winter. It's worth the hassle and expense. You could probably pick up a set pretty cheap on Fb Marketplace.
