Greetings guys,
I am in Canada where we have winter 4-5 months a year with the darn winter salt and abrasives. I am not one to switch tire season to season, hence why I run tires with extreme weather rating .
As the title implies, I am contemplating changing my Rubi upgraded wheels and seem to be attracted to wheels that are simulated beadlocks.
My question is directed at those that have hands-on experience with them in winter climates. My logic tells me to steer clear of them since salt would most likely pack in the ''bolts'' recesses and little recesses of such design wheels and start corroding the finish and bolts pretty bad.
Am I wrong to think this ?
The wheels I really like are the KMC KM544 MESA
Thanks for sharing your experience.
