Seems like a lot of weight for a smaller wheel 8” vs 8.5” too.
Think my mind is made up. OEM will find a nice home for someone. And the all black wheel against the white body I really like.

Well, my 7.5” pre XR BCD wheels *are 31 lbs. The 8” shouldn’t be that much heavier, certainly not 17 lbs. I would want confirmation on the 48 lbs before acceptance.
• replaced with 21 lb 8.5” -1mm beadgrip knurled.

As an option, I'm running Mickey Thompson BB ATs 255/85r17 on stock 2025 Willys wheels (17x8") and like it so far.

XR wheel, which is the same as a 392 except rash rings instead of beadlock rings, and 315/70/17 BFG K02. I already did the math earlier, but you're welcome to do it again.

Skylar, that trim ring is different than the OEM one I found for sale which have 12 bolts. Might make a difference In the weight.

Didnt the beauty rings later get half the bolts just like the Bronco ones you see with just a few in them.

Yea if you get the actual bead lock rings rather than the beauty rings these would be bolt holes too

Gotcha. Could always go with the Method 709’s for the bead lock look I guess.

Go with the 703s they are fantastic ... also if you sign up for the onX elite membership (normally 100 can bet had for 80 with numerous affiliate codes) you get 25% off your Method order

@shagles , That difference for 1/2” defies reason, that said, I wouldn’t run 48 lb wheels. I didn’t want the 31 lb wheels and went lighter. But kept them in case beadlock ever wanted.

Oh i agree, its absurd. I'm sure they changed section thicknesses and stuff to get there too. There should be no reason for them to be that heavy. I've seen similar numbers from people elsewhere too, not just the one.

Are you keeping them ? Performance, braking, and mpg will suffer with that much extra rotational mass. Forged wheels weren’t cheap, but my 8 1/2” wheel 35/12.50 AT3 combo is 80 lbs. Two less than the stock 7 1/2” BCD 285/70 KO2’s combo. Added bonus, no gate reinforcement needed.
