Was that wheel weighed under central valley foggy conditions or during a clear day; what about the wind, a north or Tehachapi/Ridge Route wind, or on a calm wind day; and what about the humidity, low valley humidity of 25% or a high valley humidity of 60%; and there is the valley temperature that also could make a difference, was it a typical cold-ass cold or a pleasant valley warm temperature. These climate elements could make a humongous impact on the accuracy of the scale readings.
Plus the coriolis effect is another variable depending on the scales location relative to the equator, And then lunar tides, don’t forget about lunar tides.

Correct, if you do not factor in the appropriate magnetic declination variance based on your exact location and you are off by a degree, that definitely would be a "Less Than Accurate" reading.

Per Gek, factory 48.4lb XR wheel, 62.4lb 315 KO2 = 110.8 lbs
Per Terry, the same combo 103.4 lbs, , the stripped wheels 37.1-.4 lbs but +62.4 = 99.8.
something doesn’t add up. There’s a missing variable for 110.8 lbs, but If the KO2 315’s are the 63.7 lb 113 T not the 62.4 lb 113 S variant it almost approaches Terry’s numbers considering stripped wheels.
…… yes my 7.5” BCD’s were 31 lbs so 8” at 37 lbs is a bit over expected but reasonable.
When tire shopping Dec of 23 DT said the “S” was discontinued, superseded by the “T” (Ford) variant. S was still available though.
Hmmm, the missing variable. Osmium lug nuts?

The difference couldnt be that house scales arent scientific instruments and all obviously read the exact same.

Dude I bet we paid almost $30 for that scale. Plus those 4 star Amazon reviews people did before they even used it. 🤷
and to be fair 4% off isnt that bad and probably within the error of the scales.

I agree, the math isn't mathing.

Personally, I think Terry bought himself one of those "optimistic" scales, from the anti-depresent/rosy outlook section of WalMart. Now he's trying to throw all of us off like some "lighweight" troll.

But I could be wrong.

With the 11 lb or 30% difference between 37 and 48 lbs I want his scale. Mine doesn’t lie enough. Well, showing 15% less would be sufficient. At least I might lose the Go Jog Fatass 🙃
